Sitting together at the cafeteria with the handsome guy really makes you getting all the attention.

"Do you always get the attention like this?" He asked you out of nowhere. Looking at the people around you. You let out a little chuckle.

"Oh my god Jungkook... they are not looking at me tho..." you grin widely at him.

He furrowed his eyebrows while chewing his sandwich.

"What? Then what are they looking at?" He fixed his eyes on you.

You leans closer to his ear, "they are looking at you..." you whisper to him.

He then suddenly turns his head to your direction. "What?..." your nose and his slightly brushing each other.

You flinch by his sudden move and quickly move away from him. Faint pink blush appeared on your cheeks.

"I'm sorry..." you say as you clear your throat. 

"Oh no y/n, it's my fault" Jungkook gives you an apologetic smile.

Things become a little awkward after that. You look everywhere except him. Fixing your turtle neck shirt that was covering your hickeys.

"Hey... you okay?" He asked tapping your shoulder a few times. You turned your head towards him and smile at him.

"Yeah I am..." you nodded but before you could continue your phone rings.

"I'm sorry" he nods at you.

You took the phone out of your bag. "My Mysterious Man" you smile looking at the caller ID. You excuse yourself and answer the call.

"Hey angel..." you let out a smile. Even though V can't see it.

"Hey V... have you arrived already?"

"Yes. I just reached here. How's everything there angel?" You let out a little chuckle.

"come on V, you just left like 4 hours ago. Don't worry about me, I'm gonna be okay..." you say slowly.

"I can't angel. I miss you already. I wish I could bring you along with me" you can feel him pouting on the other side of the phone.

You look down on the floor smiling sheepishly. Feeling the butterflies in your tummy.

"I miss you more V" then you can hear his voice become somewhat in rush.

"angel... I have to go now I'll talk to you later, okay? Bye angel"

You didn't get to say goodbye when he ended the call immediately. You let out a sigh and look at your phone screen.

A picture of you and V playing happily at the park as a wallpaper. You smile remembering that moment.

Then you walk back at the place where you and Jungkook were seated.

"Is everything okay?" He asked you. Concern was shown on his face.

"Yeah I'm good, thanks Jungkook" you smile sweetly at him. He nods and look back at the view in front of him.

"Jungkook?..." he hummed in reply. You remain silent after calling his name. Pursing your lips. Hesitate to ask him the question.

He then turned his head towards you. Raising his eyebrows "why did you move in here?" He look at your eyes before he let out a huge amount of air.

"I decided to start a new chapter of my life and be a better person" he says while looking down on his hands that was on the table.

You furrowed your eyebrows listening to his answer.

"I know you might think that I'm a bad person based on what I've told you just now and..." he let out a deep sigh.

You keep on looking at him with confusion, waiting for him to continue his sentence "and..." you say, tilting your head to get a better view of his sad face.

He gazes fixing at you "I won't mind and stop you if you don't want to be friends with me anymore"

You can see how sorrow his face is. You felt guilty for no reason.

Then you hold both of his hands, caressing the back of it with your thumb, smiles sincerely at him.

"Hey Jungkookie... I am not going to unfriend you just because you had a bad past. As you said just now, you want to become a better person, right?" He nodded at you.

"Then I'll be here for you no matter what" you say, smiling widely at him. Showing your deep dimple makes his heart shaking uncontrollably.

"Thank you y/n..." he holds your hand tighter. You nodded slowly.

"I like it when you call me Jungkookie" he says then the both of you laugh.

The rest of the day went so well with you hanging out with Jungkook. You brought him on a little tour, showing him around your university and the neighbourhood.

Then the night comes, you were sitting with Jungkook at the cafe shop near your old apartment. Little did you know you miss your old home.

Without V's awareness, you still pay for the rent. That house is basically still yours and you decided to spend the night there.

"Jungkook..." he hummed, looking at you and smiling "I think I'm gonna head off now. It's getting late"

He nodded and offered you to walk you home which you agreed. As you both were walking together, he keeps on pulling you closer to him.

You kinda feel uncomfortable but when you ask him why, he says there's a lot of bad guys out there and he just wants to protect you. He has the point so you just shrugged it off.

<time skip 2:30AM>

You were sleeping soundly at your old house. Then suddenly you feel uneasy. You try to change your position left to right but still the feeling won't go away.

Slowly you open your eyes and look up to the ceiling. You sigh hard before walking out of the room and went to the kitchen without switching on the light.

You open the fridge and took out a bottle of cold water. You lean on the kitchen counter and take a sip of the water.

Suddenly you stop what you're doing.

Your heart beats fast.

Your breathing becomes heavy.

Your body starts shaking.

Slowly you gulp hard and turn your head to the side, on your balcony.

You almost scream your heart out when you saw a figure of a guy.

Wearing all black with his head covers in his hoodie...

watching you...
