*Kookie was sitting on his bed, listening to the little birdies chirping on the other side of his window. When he heard the door open and close as someone just stood there silently.

Kookie: Taebear, is that you?

Tae: ...

Kookie: Why are you being so quiet? Why won't you come closer?

Tae: ... ( - he silently approached and sat on the bed.)

Kookie: Are you okay? Did something happen? Wait, are you crying?

Tae: ...*hic*...

Kookie: Did something happen? Did someone hurt you? You know you can tell me anything, right?

Tae: ...I have to leave...

Kookie: Leave? Leave where? ( - he asked sadly)

Tae: My family is moving to England...*hic*...

*Kookie felt a lump in his throat as he gripped onto his chest, feeling his heart aching.

Kookie: ...Did you come to say goodbye...?

Tae: ...No...I came to ask you something.

Kookie: Ask me what?

Tae: Give me your hand.

*Kookie extended his hand as he felt Tae place something cold and small in his palm, enclosing his fist around it.

Kookie: What is this?

Tae: It's a ring. My grandmother gave it to me and said that when I met someone I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, to give it to them.

*Kookie was speechless as he gripped his little hand around the ring.

Kookie: Are you proposing to me...?

Tae: Yes. ( - he took Kookie's hands in his own and gently leaned his forehead against them.) This short time we spent together has become my most precious treasure. I love you more than words could ever express. I might have to leave now but when I grow up and become an adult, I will come back and marry you.
