Chapter 10: Stucked up

The sun was rising and woking up Y/n and jennifer in their sleep as they began getting up the birds were whistling a tune, the cool breeze of the wind, and a calm lake with fishes swimming as Y/n looked at the time it was already 7 am he then saw jennifer stretching with her mask still on.

Y/n pov

Y/n: good morning

I said with a yawn.

Jennifer: same to you

Y/n: So want to go fishing?

Jennifer: isn't it a bit early to do that?

Y/n: not for me, you know what the elderly say *the early bird get the worm*

Jennifer: you do know that my house is just a few minutes away right?

Y/n: i know but still its pretty fun to catch some fishes.

Jennifer: whatever ill just go back home to get some breakfast

As jennifer began walking back to her house i just walked back to the lake side where i left my boat and rowed to the middle of the lake to get some fishes.

TIME SKIP  by Y/n nearly got the boat fliped.

After a few minutes i finaly got five fishes thanks to the enchantment called
Lure.

Y/n: i guess that training finally payed off.

I said happily while rowing back to the lake side where i see jennifer waiting for me. After a few more minutes of rowing i finally got back to the lake side

Y/n: Hey jennifer i caught five fishes here.

Jenniffer: well thats good lets just roast them.

Y/n: Ok ill set up the camp fire.

TIME SKIP AFTER COOKING AND EATING

After we ate our food i looked at the time and it was already 10:30 pm so i still have a hour in a half before uncle picks us up as  i looked at jennifer she was holding something so i went to ask her

Y/n: Hey jennifer what are you holding?

She then turned around to face me and showed me a locket that was a golden heart she opened it up and there was a picture of her younger self and i guess her mother smiling.

Jennifer: its a locket that my mom gave to me for my birthday i always wear it to remember her.

She said with a hint of sadness on her tone.

Jennifer: i just wish she's still here with me.

I just rubbed her back gently she flinched a bit from my touch and said to her.

Y/n: Even if our parents aren't here anymore i bet they just wanted to live your life happily.

Jennifer: i guess your right.

We just stood there in our place just watching the lake after a few minutes my phone suddenly vibrated so i got it out of my pocket to see that my uncle was calling me.

Y/n: my uncle is calling ill be right back.

I said to jennifer she nodded as i started walking back to the campfire while im talking to my uncle.

Y/n: Hey uncle. why did you call?

Uncle kray: i called because im there in a few minutes so you better check your stuff if its complete.

Y/n: i already did.

Uncle kray: by the way is your friend a girl or a boy?

Y/n: Its a girl uncle.
