It was 1:30 am on Saturday, no wait Sunday night and it had been raining all day. The streets were filled with puddles  and the plants were covered in droplets of rainwater
A tall, to be accurate 6'1, male teenager walked down the streets with his fresh white sneakers getting splashed in the puddles of water he stepped in them
He pulled his phone out of his damp jacket pocket and pushed his semi wet hair to the side out of eyes, texting his best friend
[Kuroo...It's one-thirty.]

Kuroo did a tiny cheer and walked up to Kenmas house while taking in the pleasant after rain weather as the sound of the crickets chirping was carried through the gentle summer breeze. He arrived at his doorstep and knocked on the door as his mother opened it, giving Kuroo a warm smile
"Kuroo! What are you doing here it's so late no?"
"I know, but I couldn't sleep and well.."
Kuroo rubbed the back of his neck blushing as she smiled and let him in
"Come on dear, Kenma is upstairs in his room"
"Thank you"

Kuroo opened Kenmas door with a tiny crack and smiled a bit
He was wearing his earbuds while using his switch with a cat curled up next to him in a blanket while Kenma sat cross legged wearing his oversized hoodie which was Kuroos, one he hadn't seen in a long time, as Kuroo smiled a bit

He looks so peaceful, might as well ruin the peace hehehe

He burst into the room causing Kenma to yelp and shout a bit,
"KUROO!"
"Sorry, I just like scaring you"
The black haired laughed a bit and sat infront of him
"So why did you want to see me?"

Kuroo took a good look at the boy in front of him, strands of black hair with a hint of blonde falling over his shiny copper eyes as he hid his small body in his oversized hoodie with a blanket covering his lower body as Kenma clicked his black nail painted fingers infront of Kuroos eyes
"Hello? Anyone in there?"
"Huh yes.."

"Confessing to your best friend is a lot harder than it seems"
He rubbed the back of his neck and took a deep breath and sighed looking into his eyes

Kuroo put his hand over his mouth and went into his new shade of red and looked away and Kenma stood there frozen, slowly taking it in

Kenma moves up to him and a pink tinge appeared on his cheeks as he looked on the bed tugging on the hoodie
"Funny because...I was gonna confess to you as well..."

Kuroo heard the last sentence and look up with this ridiculous grin on his face and grabbed on his hoodie and placed his lips on his
Kenma was stiff and shocked as he stared at Kuroo and then closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around his neck and kissed back

They pulled away after a bit and looked at each other in eye, slightly out of breath and smiled a bit
"So...I can keep annoying you right?"
"SHUT UP!"
