Asta didn't make it in the exam this time and was made to sent back home whereas Yuno got into Golden Dawn
Asta gave the dream of Magic Emperor, instead walking down the dark path of erasing all magic knights

Hate. Anger. Malice. Black. The last thing I saw before knocking out was dark pitch black; like an empty void. Screaming, shouting, the sound of weapons being thrown and spells being cast all stopped with one slash of that ruined sword.

"Yuno"
"YUNO!"
A boy with pale skin ,age 16, sprung up from his sleeping position in a state of panic with his golden eyes looking around the white cream colored hospital room with his fingers gripping on the bedsheets as a young girl with auburn curly hair with soft green tinted brown eyes looked at him in worry
"Yuno! Are you ok? Did you get injured badly?"
Mimosa was in worry, it was written all over her face, as she looked at him with her shoulders relaxing in relief

"I'm so glad you're awake"
"Klaus and I were so worried!"
Yuno looked around the room not responding to her questions, trying to recall what happened in the battle
"Mimosa...what exactly happened?"
He placed a hand on his bandaged forehead squinting his eyes in confusion
"I don't remember much"
"Well...we were walking in the Royal Capital for patrol and well...he attacked"
The positive energy from the girl had slowly died down as she gripped on the side of her fur trimmed robe looking down at the stone tiled floor which was adorned in small clover patterns

Yuno rubbed his temples in slight   frustration gritting his teeth
"Asta.."
He shifted his position to the side on the bed removing the sheets looking at the flower vase on wooden polished bedside table sighing softly
"Was anyone else injured?"
"Two members from the Blue Rose Knights and unfortunately lost one knight from Aqua Deer"
"He's not getting away with this"
"Tell Klaus I'll see him in a bit"

Mimosa could sense the discomfort from the taller one as slighty nodded exiting the room closing the door behind her
He gritted his teeth in anger and closed his eyes, digging his nails in the sheets
"Asta...this isn't you"
"Snap out of it you moron"

He closed his eyes to flashback to hear the voices of people screaming in fear and Magic Knights gathering around a short boy with sliver hair which was sticking all over with a black band around his head, who seemed to be holding a heavy black sword. Yuno found himself staring into those once hopeful green eyes which now seemed dull and lifeless giving him one last look before a black energy surrounded him

"GET AWAY, ITS THE ANTI MAGIC"
"HES THE BOY POSSESSED BY THE DEVIL"

The Magic Knights slowly backed up watching the boy infront of them getting enveloped in the anti magic energy as it slowly uncovered to show the boy now had black like energy covering his right side, his hair spilt in black and sliver with a horn within the black side of his hair, fangs on his teeth with a devil wing on the side. When he opened his eyes, his right one was a dark menacing red, as brandished his sword forward.

It was all a rush for Yuno, he was rapidly throwing wind spells everywhere, trying to not get hit by the sword. He made the mistake of being fast enough as he felt the blade slice his chest, the magic in him slowly fading and his wound getting wider as he dropped on the debris, his eyes slowly closing with his hand clutched over his wound
"Crap-p"

He coughed up some blood and stared the at sky which was lit by the flames from the damage ,blaze up
He saw a familiar figure tower over him and his chin slowly being lifted, slightly opening his eyes, as he got a closer look with his pupils narrowing
"Asta-a"
"Long time no see"
Asta removed the blade from under his chin and looked at him
"I wonder what happen...if I killed you right here, right now"
"Asta.."

Yuno tried to find some strength coughing up blood
"Snap...out of it..."
"No, I don't think I will. I actually like this you know, so much better than working for something that everyone told me was impossible"
He titled his head and gave him a creepy smirk turning his back on him placing the sword up on his shoulder and walking away waving his hand as Yuno felt his eyelids getting heavy hear his words echoing before passing out
"See you later"
"Yuno"
