" The hospital , I went to see my ex."

" No we fought and I broke HER nose."

" Kortez and Lucky." Chicago shrugged.

" Let me go check on my bestfriend." I walked up the steps.

" You was serious about that ?" Karter laughed.

" Yep." I nodded walking inside. " Kortez !"

" What the fuck you want ?" He mugged me from the couch.

" Oh my gosh is that my best friend ?" I gasped sitting next to him. " This your phone ?"

" Im not your bestfriend and don't touch my shit." He said snatching his phone out my hand.

" Yes you are." I smiled. " Lucky too big for that."

" He is fine." He said rubbing him on his lap.

" That dog like a hundred years old." I said laying my head down. " You wanna get some food with me ?"

" No."

" Why not fren ?"

" Cause I ate already." He shrugged.

" What you ate ?" I made a face cause I knew he was lying.

" Some pussy."

" Welp it's enough space in your stomach for some food." I said standing up pulling his arm.

" You better be paying for it too." He huffed.

I went to the car and sat down before I saw he had texted me.

" Mhm." I nodded. " Can I ask you something ?"

" Kortez." I said smacking my teeth.

" We not cool enough for you to be calling me that , my name is Tez to you."

" My bad." I shrugged.

" What you wanted to ask ?"

" Nothing." I said closing up the box to my food. " Im ready to go."

" What's wrong with you ?" He made a face.

" Nothing." I said standing up. " Ima be in the car."

I walked out and got inside the sitting there waiting until he eventually got in.

" Don't have no attitude-"

" I don't have one." I said cutting him off.

" I ain't do shit to you."

" Neither did I but you act like this everyday." I shrugged. " I don't like negative people."

" Oh." He shrugged and drove back to his house.

" What's wrong with y'all ?" Chicago made a face.

I just shrugged while Kortez ignored him going into his room.

" You straight ?" Seven looked at me. " You red."

" Im frustrated." I said grabbing my back off the couch. " See y'all later."

" Where you going ?" Karter said running down the hallway.

" Home."

" Kortez did something to you ?"

" Nah." I laughed. " Im just tired of being nice."

" Oh okay." He said after a couple seconds. " Stay gold."

" You read ?" I smiled making a face.

" It's one of my favorite books." He laughed.

" I fuck with it." I nodded.
