Chris's POV:

I found myself waiting at the airport for the flight to Oklahoma. I still couldn't believe I was doing this. It was an overnight flight so I had time to think this over and follow Kim's instructions.

He booked half the things I needed so I didn't have to pay for it. I thanked him a million times already but I will never truly thought I deserved this much. Maybe this trip will change my life, maybe it won't? Those questions can only be answered when I get there.

I boarded my flight and put my bags away. I sat down and thought to myself, Am I really doing this?

It was an early flight so I thought I might be able to take a nap. I was going to arrive at the ranch in the morning. There weren't a lot of people so it was good to take advantage of that. From New York to Oklahoma was only 3 hours.

I was a little excited I must admit. I've never been to Oklahoma and only know a few clients from there. It felt great to finally get out of the city. I might as well see where the future takes me.

After I woke up from my nap people were leaving the flight. As I was still waking up I was getting my things. When I was retrieving my things from the shelves above me I felt someone staring. I looked behind me I saw someone staring at my ass. We made eye contacted but I looked away quickly and left the plane.

I was at the baggage claim looking for my other bags. That incident on the plane was totally embarrassing. That guy was gross I hope I never seem him again, I thought to myself.

And just as I thought that I saw him. I felt I great amount of fear and anxiety. What if he comes up to me? What if he flirts with me?

I tried to make it seem like I wasn't looking at him by pretending to look for my bags. Which I was, in fact doing. I quickly glanced at him and caught him staring. Maybe he's daydreaming, I should stop being so scared. But I couldn't help but feel defenseless in the situation. Like I was being attacked without even knowing.

I saw my bag and quickly grabbed it. As soon as I turned around I bumped into him. That was probably the scariest moment of my entire life.

"Oops! I'm so sorry!" I said. He smirked, I immediately felt disgusted. He looked at me up and down and I felt petrified.

"Hey," He said. "the names Stone Gossard. What's yours?" he asked. This has never happened to me before.

"Um I really gotta go can you pleas-"

"Come on baby just tell me," he said getting closer. By now everyone was looking at us. I quickly ran out as fast as I could, making sure I didn't drop anything.

I didn't want to tell Kim what happened because he would send me right back home. So after that, I promised myself not to tell a soul. I'll probably never forget that.

I was waiting to get picked up by a local taxi service that Kim ordered for me. He told me it was called Cantrell's Taxi Service. So I looked around for it.

I heard a horn honking and I quickly went to the car. Well, it was more of a truck. It was sandy-yellow with a watermark that said the services name is a fancy font. It looked very rustic which I enjoyed. I put my stuff in the long trunk and sat in the front seat next to the driver.

"Chis Cornell? Order from Kim Thayil?" the driver said.

"Yep, that's me!"

"Howdy! I'm Jerry Cantrell." he said.

"Ah, the owner I see." Jerry nodded. I buckled in and he started to drive.

"Been runnin' this company for 4 years."  he smiled.

"Aw man, that's great! Gotta keep the business moving." I said trying to get in conversation with him.

"You betcha. My husband Layne usually helps me with the service. Always been a dream of mine, helpin' people travel."

"Wow good for you!" I said.

"Now say, what brings you around here?" Jerry asked.

"Oh well, I'm a New Yorker and I work at a cosmetics company. My coworker, Kim, thought it would be a good idea to give me a break and bring me here." I said.

"Oh wow! A city guy," he said. I laughed. "we usually don't get many of those around these parts. Now I think you'll really like this place."

"You think so?" I said, genuinely curious.

"Oh yeah. The Inn I'm taking you to is very nice. Owned by a nice man named Eddie Vedder. He runs the Inn with some of his friends. I think you'll really like him." he said. I didn't really know what he meant by me liking him.

"Really? I haven't even met him yet." I chuckled.

"Well you seem like the type of person he'd be into." he winked. I thought that was strange how could he think I like someone I don't even know. Nor does he know me.

I guess I'll have to find out when I meet him......

I hope you guys enjoyed it! This was a long chapter but hopefully not too long!
