14 - Back Off!

Jeongguk and Taehyung reached the forest. They took their clothes off, leaving their underwear on. Jeongguk turned into his wolf first. His bones cracked as he changed. Taehyung watched as Jeongguk was replaced by a grey wolf.

"So cute!" Taehyung said and petted Jeongguk's wolf's fur. 'Turn into your wolf.' Jeongguk said through the mind link. Taehyung nodded and changed to his wolf. A tiny white wolf replaced Taehyung's body. 'You're the cute one.' Jeongguk said in the mind link.

Taehyung's wolf huffed. Jeongguk walked closer to the omega. He shoved his nose into his mate's scent gland. He noticed how sweet the boy's scent was. It was sweeter than usual. 'You smell really sweet.' Jeongguk mind linked.

'Maybe it's because my heat has only just stopped.' Taehyung said. The two then started running together in the forest. Taehyung panted as he ran. He was never a good runner even when he's in his wolf form.

They soon reached the lake that was a border to another pack. They both drank some water. Taehyung suddenly heard a noise and looked up. 'G-Gguk...' Taehyung stuttered in the mind link. 'What's wrong baby?' Jeongguk asked.

'A-Another w-wolf...' Taehyung mind linked. Jeongguk looked up and saw a wolf that was walking towards them. 'Get behind me Taehyung.' Jeongguk said and Taehyung, being the obedient omega he was, went behind his alpha.

The wolf came closer and Jeongguk didn't recognize the scent so he growled lowly at the wolf. The wolf growled back angrily. 'Do you recognize the scent at all Tae?' Jeongguk asked the omega. 'I-I dunno... I can't smell it...' Taehyung answered.

'I'll let you move slightly closer. BUT only slightly.' Jeongguk said in a strict and firm voice. 'Okay.' Taehyung mind linked and started slowly walking towards the other wolf. It growled as its ears went back in hostility. Taehyung whimpered softly as he got scared.

The omega started sniffing the air. He realized the angry wolf in front of him was an alpha male. Also the fact that the wolf had red eyes gave away the fact that the wolf was just a normal alpha. He couldn't recognize the scent however. It smelled like wet grass and dog food.

He cringed at the smell and retreated back behind Jeongguk. 'I don't recognize the scent but it smells disgusting.' Taehyung said through the mind link. Jeongguk chuckled and glanced at the omega for a few seconds. He then heard a growl coming from the other alpha.

He opened his mind link to the slightly smaller alpha. 'What are you doing on my territory?' Jeongguk asked. His voice was full of authority, Taehyung wanted to whine and submit. The small omega sat down as he watched the two alphas.

'I've been looking for that pathetic omega everwhere!' The angry wolf said, his voice sounding gruff. 'He's my omega.' Jeongguk growled lowly as he stepped forwards towards the other wolf. The smaller alpha growled back and pounced towards Jeongguk. The young true blood defended himself from the older wolf.

'Who are you?!' Jeongguk asked as the alpha gave up trying to fight. 'Why should I tell you?!' The alpha asked and then looked at the omega. 'Shift you filthy omega!' The older said in his alpha voice. Taehyung whined and tried to go against the man's alpha voice but couldn't because of his nature.

He shifted to his human form. The older wolf also shifted, which led to Jeongguk also shifting to be able to keep Taehyung behind him. "Ah, Mr Jeon... Your omega is very... pretty." The middle aged man said with an evil glint in his eyes.

"You will not have him." Jeongguk said, not even caring that they all were just in boxers. The alpha in from of them was a fat man who looked older than he actually was. "Come here Omega!" The man commanded with his alpha voice.

Taehyung tried to resist it as he gripped onto Jeongguk's arm. "Back off! He's mine!" Jeongguk snarled at the older man. The old man tsked and turned back into his wolf. He ran off from the scene and the two let out a breath of relief.

"You did so good baby, you didn't go to that meanie." Jeongguk said as he turned around to look at his omega. Taehyung smiled brightly but shyly. "A-Am I good Alpha?" Taehyung asked innocently as he looked up at Jeongguk through his bangs.

"Very good pretty." Jeongguk answered and caressed his hand on Taehyung's cheek. "Let's go back to the pack house, okay doll?" Jeongguk said and Taehyung nodded obediently. They both shifted to their wolf form and started running towards the pack.

Omce they reached, they shifted back into their human forms. They got dressed into their clothes and then walked out of the forest and into the pack. Jeongguk rolled his eyes as he saw the unmated wolves squealing as he walked past them.

He held Taehyung's hand tightly and the omega looked at him. "Just ignore them Ggukie." Taehyung said as soon as he noticed the squealing wolves. Jeongguk nodded and smiled slightly at Taehyung. He didn't want to smile too wide or else people would start going up to him.

Suddenly, Jeongguk felt something or someone bump into him. He looked down and groaned mentally. "Hi Ggukie!" A girl called Mina squealed. "What do you want Mina?" Jeongguk asked, annoyed that he has to deal with her bullshit.

"I guess you're annoyed that the omega is clinging onto you! Let me help! I can easily take him away from you!" Mina said and smiled brightly. Jeongguk growled at her. "He's mine." Jeongguk said possessively and pulled Taehyung closer to him. Taehyung squeaked slightly as he fell into Jeongguk.

"Alpha! Please can we go and have some alone time together? That omega needs to leave. He is annoying." Mina said. Taehyung rolled his eyes and looked at the girl. "I'm the annoying one?" Taehyung asked sarcastically. The girl nodded.

"Bitch please, we all know that you are the annoying one." Taehyung said and a slap echoed across the ground of the pack. Some people gasped as they witness what just happened. Taehyung glared at the girl. They heard a low growl of anger coming from the alpha that was behind Taehyung.

"How dare you slap my mate?!" Jeongguk asked in a deep, loud voice. He had used his alpha voice which made Taehyung start shaking slightly but the hand that was caressing his waist calmed him down. "But alpha! He is just a stupid pathetic omega that is just a slut!" Mina said and Jeongguk huffed in annoyance.
