[Before we start, I just want you to know that I wrote the first two chapters back in the day when I first knew ONEUS and I was very hesitant to publish this cuz I don't think they fit the characteristics that I gave them in this fanfiction. I originally wrote this book as a BTS ff btw.

Beware of the inappropriate contents and errors of this book!

I recommend you not to read this anymore if you are very sensitive to 18+ topics. It's for your own safety, dear. I hope you'll enjoy :) ]

"My name is Yeo Hwanwoong."

The brunette said lowly with his expressionless face, his hands intertwined between his handcuffed wrists. His once clean white shirt, dark jacket and ripped jeans was stained with his own father's blood, dried.

"I'm 19."

The small hanging lamp in the middle of the interoggation room was the only one that's lighting the dark area. The investigator typed the suspect's words on the laptop that he was facing.

"I killed my own father."

Yeo Hwanwoong called off his shift in the cafeteria that he was working and stopped by a small restaurant to buy some food for dinner. "I'm sure, mom would like this." he said, looking at the plastic bag where the container of food was inside.

He walked the dark stairs of the building, going to his apartment. As he passed by the hallway, he could hear faint sounds of shouts, scream, sobs and cries. As close as he gets to his apartment's door, the sounds became even more evident.

Mom. He barged in, almost breaking the door and was greeted with her mom laying on the cold floor, sobbing in pain whilst his father grabbed the bottle of beer from the coffee table and he chugged down the alcohol.

Hwanwoong dropped the plastic bag on the floor and ran to his mother. "M-mom, are you okay?" he pulled her weak mother in his arms, hugging her fragile figure.

"That's right. Stay there on the ground, it suits the both of you, worthless creatures." his father slurred and threw the bottle on the wall, making it shatter in pieces.

The man in his mid 40s shouted sharp words at his helpless family then gave a hard slap on his son. He blamed him for losing his job, his money and everything even though Hwanwoong didn't have anything to do about it.

He had never asked money from him ever since the beginning and worked at such a young age to support himself and his sick mother. They could've left his father but it wasn't that easy for them to escape from his cruelty.

Seeing the red mark on Hwanwoong's cheek that he got from the slap, that's when his wife had enough.

She can see nothing but darkness. She grabbed a piece of glass on the floor and charged into her husband. "Die!" She shouted at him before he felt a sharp object ripping his skin.

Hwanwoong shot his eyes open and watched his father fell on the floor on his knees. He witnessed how the man died from her mother's hands. "Mom?" his deep, innocent voice made her mother cry even more.

"I-i'm sorry, Woongie." her pale hands that was covered with crimson blood were trembling. "I k-killed him."

He went to her, pulling her in his arms once again. "It's okay, mom..."

"Everything's going to be fine, Mom. I promise you."

He took the blame. He sacrificed himself for his mother's sake. Wishing that things are going to be just fine and hopefully her mother would live peacefully.

"I declare this man, Yeo Hwanwoong, as guilty for murdering his own father. With having enough evidences and proofs of his crime, the case is closed." hearing the hammer banged in the whole room and whispers from the people.

He looked up to see the second woman that he loves the most for one last time before he leaves. Y/n was broken. He can see it in her eyes. He knew that she is going to hate him for this but he did this to himself for her mother who did nothing but to take care and give him love. Hwanwoong looked away and got up from his seat then the guards guided him in his own cell.

The cold metal bars closed leaving him alone in the dark room. "I'll be fine..."
