Astraphobia: fear of storms
——dream pov—-
Monsters have been free for a few months and in that time I found a wonderful significant other. I was currently at toriel's with everyone trying to plan (y/n) birthday. We were all so lost in planning that we didn't notice the storm continuing to grow.

—-(y/n) pov—-
I yelped as a flash of lightning lit up the dark room I was in. I paused for a moment hoping it would stop. It didn't in fact the lightning and thunder seemed to grow louder and faster. Panic was coursing through me now as I instinctively grabbed the blanket off the bed I share with dream. I curled up in the corner of the room under the blanket when the loud banging of thunder rose again. I started to cry hoping and wishing dream would come back.

—-Dream pov—-
I felt a nagging in my soul like something was wrong but ignored it seeming as we were in the middle of planning a surprise party it wasn't until alphys broke our planning " w-wow I-it's really s-storming out there." The nagging feeling seemed to grow at the mention of the storm. It's almost as if someone's soul is calling out to mine and the only person that could be is...(y/n)! I quickly dashed around grabbing my belongings on the way.
"Dream what-!" Toriel was cut off by me slamming the door and sprinting away, " well everyone I suppose you should all go home." Toriel spoke in a somber tone.
After walking into my apartment I immediately went up to our bedroom. When I opened the door...
—-(Y/n) pov—-
I glanced over to where I hear the door opening. In the doorway stands Dream a look of worry crosses over his face. He quickly walks over and embraces me tightly.
"I'm so sorry (y/n). I should have never left you alone for so long."
I can tell he is close to crying himself. I backed away and kissed the top of his skull. " it's okay" I whispered before smiling at him. He smiles back at me before standing up and offering his hand. " shall we go cuddle." His asked.
" We shall." I replied before both of us broke out into laughter. And so for the rest of the night we cuddled all our worries away.
