they say once you see someone cry you truly know them. but do you? what if they're faking it? What if the entire thing wasn't real? what if the whole time it was all of you and part of them? or what if it's because the crying was real, and now they feel like they've opened up to much, showed a side of them to you that not many people see. they think you'll hurt them cause they showed their vulnerable side. so they shut you out and hide their feelings. but in the end is hiding feelings always the best option?
"im saying it's the best option." my manager, carly says.
"and I'm saying there is no way anyone's gonna believe that." i say back.
"it would only be for a little while." she stands up. "and i know just the guy."
"carly im not fake dating someone for publicity." i then stand up and reach for the door. "plus i cant force some random guy into doing that for me."
"that's the thing hun, he's not a random guy, and he needs this too." she says smirking.
i glance up meeting her gaze. "i'll think about it, okay?"
"okay, but don't take to long remember, it's not just helping you." she says as i walk out the door. i go down the long hallway of offices and reach the entrance where I see a guy at the front desk.
"i have a scheduled appointment under the name 'dolan'." he says.
"is this appointment for you or someone else?" the receptionist asks.
"uhm it's not for me it's for my brother." he says.
i walk out the glass doors and get in my car with a million thoughts running through my head. she wants me to date a guy for both of our social blades. what guy on the internet would need to fake date someone for publicity?
