daichi's eyebrows furrowed inward. he stared at the group of volleyball players in front of him before sighing. "where's his body?"

nishinoya, tanaka and hinata tensed up. they had gotten caught red handed.

kageyama and tsukishima were standing near sugawara and the other second years, with yamaguchi too. they snickered at the sight of daichi scolding their problem children.

hinata made a face as his two senpais looked away and answered. "he's in a closet."

the captain glowered above the three. he glared at hinata with a stern frown. "a closet?"

the three idiots looked away in shame. tanaka spoke for them this time. "we dont know which closet. we just hid him and ran."

hearing this, the members not included gaped at the fact that m/n was lost. sugawara walked up beside daichi with a stern face. "we need to start looking before he wakes up and freaks out. that idiot.." he sighs.

daichi nods and assigns everyone a hallway, in pairs, and tells them to start looking. he paired himself with sugawara, as he is the vice-captain, and so they began looking in club closets.

mom rubbed his temples in stress. "i can't believe they did this."

looking at his wife, the captain pats his back in consolation. "we'll find him. don't worry." despite that, he still can't help but worry for his adopted son. who knows what that dumbass will do if he wakes up?

scream.

the two captains made eye contact and sighed in unison. that was their son alright. heading towards the sound, they meet up with tsukishima and yamaguchi, ennoshita and tanaka, and nishinoya, kinnoshita and narita. the three groups greet eachother silently with nods before taking off in same direction.

being in the lead, sugawara and daichi find the closet first. the handle was rattling but it was locked from the outside so they knew someone was inside. dad knocks on the door tentatively. "m/n?"

it's silent before something akin to sobs enter their ears. "daichi! please get me out!" his fists pound the door in desperation. being the ones who put him in there, nishinoya and tanaka lower their heads in shame.

sugawara's motherly instincts take over and he quickly opens the door. m/n's figure falls on him and wraps around the team mom as the narcoleptic boy cries. he sobs into sugawara's shoulder as his body trembles and shakes in fear.

'ah so he's claustrophobic..' tsukishima's thoughts reveal. 'he doesn't seem like the type of person to be afraid of things like that. maybe spiders or snakes but small spaces? nah that ain't it chief.'

daichi manages to get the crying boy to transfer to his shoulder so he could carry him to the club room. being out in the open like this is kinda embarrassing for the poor boy, he could tell.

as they walk to the club room, they run into the last group of volleyball players, asahi, kageyama and hinata.

sugawara quickly shushed then before motioning to m/n's still trembling figure. the three did as told and followed the rest back into the gym.

it took a while but they managed to calm him down and get the three idiots to appologize.

daichi and sugawara scolded the problem children after the rest of the team went home.

they were feeling pretty guilty and didn't know how to make it up to m/n. even though he said he forgave them, they still wanted to make it up to him.
