Gladion POV

I stood there hopelessly, after being shoved out of
y/n's hospital room alongside mallow. I figured this was for the best and the right thing to do was leave it alone... leave her alone. This past week had shown me a side to her I hadn't know even existed. However>

As mallow and I began to walk away from the room, I saw the biggest grin on her face, a grin of pure victory. And I noticed under her breath she said "That's what you get you dumb Bitch". I was taken aback. "Mallow?" I questioned her.

This women's entire atmosphere changed in an instance when she noticed I was looking at her. Realisation slapped me in the face. Excusing myself to the bathroom, I looked into the mirror. What the hell had I become? It was ME who had changed the last week... not y/n.

I gritted my teeth, every hateful word she had said about/to mallow was nothing but truth, and completely justified. I had royally fucked up.

The next morning, I watched as y/n, red, and blue handed in their notes to leave the school. And off they went, she was gone. By this point I treated mallow like a stranger, she didn't get an ounce of my attention which angered her beyond belief.

Lonely, I'm so lonely.

I made a big decision the very next day to leave the training school, I feel nothing but depression here. Every single person's face felt like it was burning regret into my retina. To take my mind off of literally everything, I got a full time job as a Pokémon trainer.

I spent weeks barely afloat, getting kicked out of almost every rental as my next victory was never guaranteed. Living a homeless life was hard to say the least, and winning battles on an empty stomach with no sleep seemed impossible. My poor Pokémon were starving. It's not like I deserved much better.

Just when I was at my wits end, severe malnutrition almost taking my life. I found a Pokémon, it's name was Victini, the victory star Pokémon.

And almost as if it were magic, I began winning battle after battle. Victini wasn't exactly strong or an amazing Pokémon but she seemed to give me the most amazing luck. My opponent would trip on nothing and miss all of their moves.

This bubbly Pokémon had brightened up my entire life, she literally saved me. I had become very successful and wanted to have a vacation. As I was travelling, I had the luxury of visiting a hot spring known to be one of the best around.

My visit however did not go as planned, I ran into a person whom I sincerely believed I would never see again. It was y/n, I wanted to cry out her name, pull her into my arms, and tell her I'm sorry. Before I could even get over the shock from seeing her, she was escorted out by Red. I was disappointed and wanted to run after her but my legs wouldn't move. I spent out the rest of my vacation at the hot spring thinking about her, I can't get her out of my mind. It's frustrating to say the least.

And almost like a miracle I received a message from her, she really wants to talk to me again? Confused but excited I began to plan the day out with y/n. She is more than likely just expecting a conversation over lunch and that would be that however if this were the last time I see her, you best bet I'm going to make it rememberable.

Narrator POV

The anticipation within Gladion has almost became too much to bear, yet y/n's excitement was non existent. I'm fact she was depressed toward the thought of seeing Gladion.

Gladion put on his most attractive maroon v neck shirt, flexing the biceps he had grown astronomically the past months, alongside ripped black jeans. Yet dressing to impress was the last thing Y/n wanted, she wore black sports pants with a baggy red hoodie.

The moment had came, Gladion's eyes met Y/n's. And for a split second, the happy memories and wishes for a future with Gladion flashed through Y/n's mind. She held back tears as her fists clenched to fight the love she had been holding back.

Yet it was still very much there.
