A Jen Aniston story
Jennifer has not gone on a date since her daughter was 4 years old (2012). She has yet to find true love but her now 12 year old daughter might just be able to help her.
It's the first day of summer break so I decided to let Elle sleep in. Even though she's homeschooled I make sure she always has summer break at the same time as anyone else so that she can see her friends when they're off school. I've been thinking about what Elle said to me about Matt as well, I really like him, I truly do, but I don't know if he still feels the same way about me. I decided that today I would have a mini friends reunion at our house, I'll have a pool party to celebrate the start of summer and when everyone starts to go home I'll talk to Matt. Just as I think of my plan, Elle walks down the stairs in her pj's. J- Morning sleepyhead E- Hi J- What do you think of having a pool party today? E- Are you gonna tell Matt? J- How did you..? E- I just thought that you would, to be honest I didn't think you were going to. J- Ok, so that's a yeah to the party? E- Obviously! Who's coming ? J- Well, Lisa, Court, David, Matthew, Matt, Coco and Cleo. Oh, and you can invite Jacei and Millie if you want to. E- Thanks mom, I'll go and call them! Jacei and Millie are Elle's two best friends, they met when they were just a day old as I was in the same area of the hospital as their moms. We made friends and so did our daughters, we know everything about each other. Like how Jacei hated her grandmother coming over from Pakistan or how Millie always gets scared when the go to South Africa to see her dad. The conversations we have are mostly about our daughters, it's fun to see them grow up together. They have only got in around five fights it the past twelve years and always made up a day later. I love how they tell each other everything, like the friends I always wanted at that age. It's photo day today so I take one up to her as she talks to her friends on FaceTime.

It's one of her at one of my photoshoots. The photographer was so nice so he took pictures of her as well, I put it up on the bulletin board where she puts them all and leave her in peace. As I left the room I saw her smile at me, it's nice to see her happy.
(About two hours later)
Elle's POV
My mom walks into my room holding something behind her back. I try to see what it is, but she won't let me see.
E- Mom! What is it! J- Okay, what have you been wanting for a while now? E- Gucci! J- I am not buying you Gucci, you're only twelve! E- Wait, so you didn't get me Gucci, so you got me..... wait, did you get me that bikini I saw a few months ago! J- Yep honey! She gives me the bikini and I hug her. My moms the best, she does stuff for me, but not that often. Well, she does stuff for me all the time, but she does this stuff to make me really happy once in a while. She's the best.
