Being a boss is never only the key to success, but also a mission of making others people happy.

Aliyah's POV cont...

I swerved near Faaiza's school while she hurriedly came down, and bide me a goodbye before hastened down into the school gate. I put the car back into motion, and sped down to the office.

I drove straight into the compound, and parked my car in the garage, after which I got down, locked the doors, and walked smartly into the company - my own company -. Getting to the first floor, I sighted some of my staffs discussing. They all greeted me as I entered which I returned back their greetings.

"What's going on here?" I asked to no one in particular.

"It's all about the news spreading around the city ma'am." Replied the female receptionist.

"And what news is that?" I asked her.

"A great business man from London just arrived into the city this morning." She replied.

"Oh! I see..... Everyone of you should go back to his or her post." I said, more like a command which they all obeyed.

"And what about Amirah?" I asked the female receptionist as she was already at her own post.

"She's in her office ma'am." She replied.

"Ok." I said before making my way up to the third floor where my office is. The company comprises of three floors which each floors grouped with different task workers.

On getting to my office, I immediately put a call through Amirah's office line to come see me in my office.

Amirah is my best friend all the way back from college, and although, she got nowhere to work since we finished our school programmes, however, our friendship was what also inspired me to made her working with me as she would also love to work with me since we shared the same field back in college.

Shortly after dropping the call, she walked in carrying a tray which surface contained a tea-jug.

"Your coffee." She said as she placed the tray on the table in front of me.

"Shukran (thank you)." I said before taking a sip from the coffee.

"Don't mention..... And hope you're fine?" She asked after taking her seat.

"Alhamdulillah....... But Amira, I've told you not to bring me coffee anymore, someone else could do that." I said seriously while she smiled.

"Hmmm..... You're right, but actually, I was on way here when I met a staff bringing it, so I had to collect it to bring it along ."

"Better. And….....that reminds me, any links about the........business man who just arrived into the city this morning?" I probed.

"Hmmm...... Not really, but I heard that he's a very young man, and also among the top businessman in London." She stated.

"What kind of business is he into?" I asked further.

"I don't know that yet." She replied.

"Ok, you can go for now." I said while she got up to leave, but I quickly stopped her as soon as I remembered dad's company's conference meeting.

"Dad is having a conference meeting with some other similar companies tomorrow, so In sha Allāh, we have to be there." I informed.

"Alrigh no problem." She said before taking her exit.

Few hours later. I was busy working on some files when I received a text massage from Faaiza, in a pleading tone, telling me to pick her up in the school when going home. As it was already 'Zuhr time, I at once stopped what I was doing as I took my time to pray in the office.

So as to meet up with Faaiza's request, I rested the day's work after 'Asr prayer, and drove down her school. Getting to her school, I parked the car in sort of a parking lot, and called her right away to inform her of my arrival, after which she showed up some few minutes later.

"How are you doing?" I asked her with a smile as soon as she got into the car.

"I'm so tried...... Like seriously, some lecturers can be too troublesome. How I wish to have through with school programmes." She said with a pout while I chuckled.

"Oh. Sorry dear, you almost through now....... And should we have some have some drinks?"

"Hmmm....... That will be so better...... Like you already knew that I'm hungry."

"Hope Abdullahi is in school already because he told me he's having afternoon class......?" I asked before starting the car as I drove off.

"Yes, we met just now when I was coming out." She replied, and I nodded.

After driving for some minutes, we finally found a restaurant. The caption of FLEW SIN, AND YOU WOULD BE SEEN which placed somewhere at the top of its entrance was what caught my glimpse as I pulled the car straight into the garage, and parked. We both came down, and went in.

After we've both seated, our order was taken, and which was brought to us shortly after. Not too long after we started eating, Faaiza's phone started ringing, but only for ignored to the call, and when the call persisted, I spoke up.

"Why are you not picking your call?" I queried as I reached out for a spoon of ice cream.

"Huh, nothing." She replied uncertainly.

"And what about the gift you promised me in the morning?" She asked almost immediately while I conceptually and instantly knew that she wasn't but just trying to stop me from querying her further, which is a lie.

"And excuse me madam, ‘nothing’ is not all okay to be an answer to my question." I rolled my eyebrows at her.

"I just feel like not picking it." She said with fear now written over her face.

"What is…......" I was saying when the her phone started ringing again.

Subuhanallah! It shouldn't be what I was thinking right now.

"Faaiza. Now, tell me, who's that person calling your phone?" I pressed further, but she didn't say a word with her gaze now downward.

"Is it your boyfriend?" I asked her the irritating question ever while she looked up back and into my eyes before nodding her head.

"Oh! I see..... But why are you afraid of telling me......... You knew already that I'll never support it, so I think it's quite possible for you to be afraid of telling me. And let me tell you what you don't seems to understand, you see, you are worth more than having a boyfriend, it would have been better if you have chosen to get married instead. And it's only a dumb girl that would think her teenage life would be miserable without having a boyfriend, which is never true, but just an imprudent and foolishly thought. And see darling, there’s absolutely no reason for you to have a boyfriend, and living a I-wanna-be life will only have your self-esteem assassinated. I believe that you're not a dumb girl for you have beautiful dreams which you're pursuing, so please, forget having a boyfriend, you can just get married if otherwise." I advised.

"I.........I am sorry." She finally spoke up feeling remorsefulness.

"That's not the solution. You know exactly what you want, so, sit the boy down and peacefully sort it out with him. The key word is that, you're someone's princess and not ever going to be someone's girlfriend, and if possible you want to love now, then marriage should rather be the way, huh?" I pressed further while she nodded.

When we were set to leave, I did the payment. And as we about to step out of the restaurant, I mistakenly bumped into a man, and before I could say jack, a hot slap landed on my cheek. He slapped me while Faeezah tried to fight back, but I quickly stopped her.

"Don't create a scene here, let's go." I said, after which the man didn’t look even look us twice before walking away.

"You're going to pay for it!" Faeezah voice trailed at him.

On our way going home, I tried hard to convince Faeezah from telling anyone at home about the incident, especially Dad, he won't let go of it easily until he have the man fished out from anywhere he might be living, but she insisted not to keep her shut over the matter.
