Luke's POV:
"Kate why didn't you tell me about him the boys and I would have helped you" I said.
My heart dropped as I said each and every word.
She didn't deserve what her father put her through.
"I know Luke, it's just that, he said if I told anyone he'd kill me and the people who found out. and Luke, I know this may sound creepy, but I feel like I don't want you hurt, no matter what." she said.
I sighed, letting out my breath that I didn't know I was holding.
"Kate I don't matter, you do. and if your safe and happy so am I." I replied.
She blushed and smiled.
I smiled in return and asked, "are there anymore secrets I should know about?"
She shook her head and asked "do YOU have any secrets I should know about?"
I sighed extremely loud, earning a quiet giggle from her.
"If your not going to tell me I'll leave" she said.
But before she could go, I grabbed her wrist and pulled her into my chest.
I wrapped by arm around her waist and looked into her eyes.
I chuckled. "I'm not going to hurt you." I said and began to lean in and close my eyes.
Our lips connected and I almost instantly felt sparks.
Our lips moved in sync, for what felt like hours, but was truly only a few minutes.
A few breathless,loving, passionate, minutes.
When we pulled apart, I looked into her beautiful bluish-brown eyes and asked her "Kate will you give me the honor of taking you on a date?"

Kate's POV:
"Kate will you give me the honor of taking you on a date?" He asked.
"Luke I don't know." I said.
"Kate if I take you on a date, it will prove we are meant to be together." he said.
i sighed and groaned out, "fine."
He smiled and said "great! I'll pick you up at 6:30, 'cause that's when the surprise place I'm taking you to will be ready" he said as he winked when he said the word, suprise.
"Luke you are such a cocky little bastard." I said.
Last time I checked Kate, your 5'4 and I'm 6'0." he said chuckling.
I sighed in defeat.
"Whatever." I mumbled. "What am I supposed to wear?"
"Wear something comfortable, but also warm, it get chilly outside at night" he said trying to make a scary deep voice.
I laughed at his impression and said "see you at 6:30" winking and running away.
