"where, where are we?" Tatyana groaned getting up and looking about
"More appropriate question is what happened?" Steve said picking up his shield
"Well, inorder to K.O Kang, I had to go back in time, like a slingshot, inorder to go forward you must pull back and build energy." Finn said
"How come we got mixed in?" Tony asked
"Not sure, but it will give us more momentum, when I activate this Ruin stone again, since there is more mass to move, which means Kang will go flying into time, and where he stops—well no one will know." Finn replied
"Then let's go." Steve said excitedly
"No, not yet, the more time we spend here the more damage will be done to Kang. But if we stay too long our reality will disappear, and the Avengers of the 20 century will never be. So I estimate three days, to three months here, the longer the better." Finn said
"But what will that do to reality?" Tatyana asked
"By my recollection of my notes, if we are here and don't keep a low profile, within a years time, here our reality will be gone. But a high profile, for three months will not do much except add odd sightings in the history book." Finn said
"So, that still does not answer the question where are we?" Tony said
"Simple, baced off of the trees and that farm we, are in New England, before the industrial revolution." Finn said
"So, that means no electricity?" Tony asked
"Yep, as well as no restraunts, no Shawarma, no hamburgers no running water and no flush toilets and no A/C." Finn replied as Tony groaned
"Just what I think we need." Steve said with a grin
"Yeah right." Tony muttered
"Awe, Tony don't take it too hard." Finn said teasing Tony
"Thanks a lot, remind me not to ask you for a problem that requires TLC." Tony said
"Come on, let's follow this road, it will take us to either a town or farm." Finn said as the group started to follow.
"Oh, by the way, in case anyone asks we are know as Finn and company." Finn said
"Like Thoran and company in the Hobbit?" Tatyana asked
"Yep." Finn replied
They walked for about three miles, till they came to a small City. It was a busy port City with wood houses and shops stacked together lining the dirt roads.
"What is this place?" Tatyana asked
"Well, looking at the cloths of the locals and of the British flag and army, it would be safe to assume, that we are in 1700s Boston." Finn said
"Say what?" Tony asked
"More specifically off of this political cartoon, the year 1775." Finn continued
"What are the intolerable Acts?" Tatyana asked
"The intolerable Acts win short were were punitive laws passed by the British Parliament in 1774 after the Boston Tea Party. The laws were meant to punish the Massachusetts colonists for their defiance in the Tea Party protest in reaction to changes in taxation by the British Government." Finn explained
"Why did they rebel?" Tatyana asked again
"The Boston tea party The was a political protest that occurred on December 16, 1773, at Griffin's Wharf here in Boston, the colonists, frustrated and angry at Britain for imposing “taxation without representation,” dumped 342 chests of tea, imported by the British East India Company into the harbor." Finn replied
"Oh" was all Tatyana said
"The fighting between the colonists and Great Brittan was a last resort, for they tried multiple times to resolve the problems Via daplomicy, but to no avail, and on April 19th, 1775, the first shot was fired, at the old north bridge at Lexington, the local minutemen, 70 strong, I think, pushed the British regiment all the way back here to Boston." Finn replied
"You Americans are strange, but you have a resilent determination and incredibly still necks." Tatyana said
"Well, old Fashioned Americans like your Father, his Cousin, Me and Steve are hard to find, most modern Americans I have met are weak hearted, spinless and don't know how to lead— Well." Finn said frowning
"Well, culture changes." Tatyana said
"I know, and the United States is the longest surviving democracy in the world." Finn replied
"Hay, cool it, we got a visitor." Steve said as he pointed to a townsman coming up to them.
"Howdy." Finn said
"Morn' sir, I am Jack Cartwright." The man introduced him self
"Morning to you Sir, I am Finn MacLachlan, and these are my friends, Tony Stark, Captain Steve Rogers and Tatyana." Finn said as Jack looked at them in wonder then his eyes nearly popped out of his head, when he saw Tatyana.
"I'm sorry, about that Ma'am, I'm just surprised at your atire." He said regaining him self
"Huh?" Tatyana responded looking at Finn
"Oh, I forgot to mention, women of this time did not wear bodysuits with armor or weapons." Finn said
"Yeah, Jack I know it's what we would call a culture shock for you, we mean no harm or trouble. Cold you tell us the date?" Finn said then asked
"Uh, April 18, 1775 in the year of our Lord." Jack replied
"The British, they're preparing to March upon Concord and Lexington to seize arms and munitions." Finn said
"What?" Jack said
"You heard me right." Finn said then added
"Here come a few now, we're going over yonder to that tavern to refresh our selves then we move out for Lexington." Finn told Jack.
"No, you must come with me to meet Paul Revere." Jack replied
"And risk getting caught, Thanks but no Thanks." Finn said
"You must, it's now or never." Jack said.
"Ok, but any trouble, we'll Handel it, agreed?" Finn said
"Agreed." Jack said as they started walking towards the blacksmiths shop.
