you've probably seen this before, but I cannot explain how wrong this actually is.
this happens everywhere from real life, to even things like social media, but the place I see it most is in fanfics.
so basically some people think its "cool", "cute", or "quirky" to have a mental illness, and its disgusting.
im talkin' abt the characters with black hair, hood always up, always looks tired, that you feel bad for 24/7. yeah, those characters. if you do this correctly, its okay, but most of these characters are exactly the same.
I don't see it a lot in the mcyt wattpad fandom(not saying there's none of it), but in other fandoms I'm in (love live, vocaloid etc.) I see way too much of this.
its not cool or quirky to have a metal illness, and by romanticizing it, is just weird. I have no clue why people think this is okay, but its not.
