DARE

Chapter 1 : Diary

Three years later

           Myra is one year away from completing her goal . She seems to be happy . She writes about her life updates in a dairy . Grace( her younger sister) is in high school . Everything seems to be perfect . She happens to meet Hannah and even after three years their friendship is intact and quite deep.
  
           Myra planned a night out with Hannah but having some sort of food emergency rushed to market and commanded Grace and Hannah to take care of the apartment. Since Hannah was bored she went to Myra's room and saw a diary .

            She was excited about it and started to read it from the start it dated two years back when " I was been forced to end my friendship with Noah." She writes how happy she is that his life must have changed , but inserts a question mark .

               Unlocking suspense she kept reading further , wherein Hannah discovers that " I went to kitchen to quench my thirst but overheard that Lily happen to have an affair with a rich businessman depsite being married and from shock dropped glass of water. The glass shattered with a loud voice and so did my heart. I stood there in shock , before I could escape Lily comes and shouts on me for listening all this crap of hers . And said me to keep this secret . But I was devastated knowing this fact and what more pricked me was Noah worshipped his Mom , if he happens to learn this he'll never be able to recover from a shock . He might leave the house. But despite this I gathered some courage to give him reality check of Lily . Before I could, Lily picked a broken glass and presses it hard on my hand . The blood kept flowing without the signs of stoping and out of pain I screamed which surpassed through hallway. Listening this Noah rushes towards kitchen and sees my hand is covered in blood . He quickly rushed me to hospital and got my hand wrapped in bandage."

                "I decided to tell him about the truth but I couldn't . His smile stopped me . Noah shoots questions at me about was it this and asked me that is this done by his mother or not." Tell me the truth , he demanded.

            "I made up a reason and tried to handle it well . Noah knows how his mother is and he seems to be very furious on Lily . He didn't confess it but could be seen in his eyes."

                   "Later, we went to my rented apartment . Despite my failed attempts , I tried again . But couldn't, the charm in his eyes will disappear forever. Though he is pissed on Lily but he would hate himself for trusting her after he learns this . So I kept shut."

             " I feel this is somewhere my mistake to keep shut and let him not know this . I couldn't stop but was weeping out of pain and the secret . I'm sorry Noah . But I can't see you sad."

             Hannah was confused and shocked . She asked her Grace who was he ? Why did Myra never mentioned about him ? What is all this ?

               Grace with a sigh of sadness said that Noah was his first love and best friend . Although she never mentioned me but I know this . And his Mom hated Myra to her gut after an affair episode. And she was the reason we are here today. Lily was worried that this might break her family so forced us to leave the States. She warned us to leave or else she'll harm Noah . So we left . She never really wanted to bother anyone with her past do she never said you all this.

                After a while pause , bell rings . And as soon as the door opens Hannah hold Myra in a tight hug . Myra was happy and depicted her voice ...leave me .. I'm suffocating. Both started to laugh . Myra felt so relieved after all these years .

Hannah asked Myra about Noah . She was wondering how did she know . Before she shoots for a list of questions , Hannah handed her diary . Hannah felt the tension between them.

Myra seemed dejected . Hannah quickly wiped her tear drops and gave Myra a quick dare to punch her if she brings this matter anyday again without her consent. Myra gave her a weak smile and tight hug. Sometime later , Myra cooked them Pasta and her special Cappuccino .

(Myra kept turning the lamp button On. Off. On. Off. On . Off .  On. Then something happen to recall and she woke up with a sharp jerk)

Later while both were asleep , she recollected from earlier talk "Dare" which took her in past .

What could it be ?
Is this Dare related to Noah ?
