(3) The Agreement

Heather's POV

"Mark, wait!" I grabbed his hand. Bat ba sya nagagalit sakin?! WALA NAMAN AKONG GINAGAWANG MASAMA SAKANYA EH.

"Ano?!" He answered back. Why the hell is he angry?!

"Bat ka ba nagagalit?! Ano bang ginawa ko sayo?!" I almost screamed but I tries to stay calm as possible.

"Heather, do you have no clue? Ganun lang ba kadali na iwanan ako? Ganun lang ba kadali na kalimutan ako? Miss na miss na kita, pero ikaw? Nandito ka, you didn't even bother to call me!" So, yun pala. Kaya pala sya nagagalit.

"Mark! Ano ba yang sinasabi mo?! Syempre namiss kita, sobra!" And hinug ko sya ng sobrang higpit.

He hugged me back.

"Mark, I'm sorry sa lahat. Sorry talaga. I missed you so much. So so much." I did not break the hug.

"Me too, Heather. I'm sorry. I missed you. You've changed. My Heather became a big girl now."

My heart, beating very fast. The moment he said my, my heart exploded.

"Heather, bat mo ba ko iniiwasan?!" Tim said.

Tunalikod ako sakanya pero hinila nya yung kamay ko. Causing me to look at him at the eye.

Sakto, dumating si Mark.

"Tim, bitawan mo nga ako!"

"Oo nga pala, I want you to meet, Mark. My boyfriend." Yes, I know what I'm doing and No, I'm not out of my mind.

"What?" Sabay sila.

"This nerd? Is your boyfriend?"

He said in disgust.

"Bakit? May angal ka? Atleast hindi nya ko pagpapalit sa bestfriend ko dba? Yung halos lunukin na yung isa't isa?"

"What are you talking about?" He looks confused. He shouldn't be. Ginawa nya yun eh. Hahahaha.

"Mark, let's go na." I pulled Mark's hand and went away.

As soon as nakalayo na kami,

"Mark, I'll explain." I said. I hope he listens to me.

"You better." Ngayon ko lang sya nakitang super annoyed. He avoided my eye though.

"Ganto kasi yan, si Sophie, sya yung isa sa mga bestfriends ko. Well- ex bestfriend. And Tim is my boyfriend. Nung nagkita tayo dito sa school, nung first time, galing ako ng janitor's closet. Nakita ko sila, halos lunukin na yung isa't isa."

Huminga ako ng malalim tsaka ko sinabi, "Please forgive me. I just want him to regret what he was doing. I want him to feel jelous."

"Okay." He said,

"What, okay?"

"Papayag akong maging fake boyfriend mo. Sa isang kondisyon."

"Reallyy?! Thank youuuu so much! You're the best." Atleast pumayag sya. Kahit may kondisyon.

"Ang kondisyon ko, bawal tayo mafall sa isa't isa." What was he talking about? He's my bestfriend

Syempre di ako mafafall sakanya.

"Yun lang pala eh. Thank you so much! I love you!" I said smiling at him. He doesn't look upset as he was awhile ago.

He doesn't reply though.

Mark's POV

"Heather, bat mo ba ko iniiwasan?!" May narinig akong nagsisigawan dun at nakita ko si Heather. Maybe she needs help.

"Tim, bitawan mo nga ako!" She does need help. Tumakbo ako papunta sakanya at

"Oo nga pala, I want you to meet, Mark. My boyfriend." Sabi ni Heather.

She better explain this later. She changed alot.

Di naman sya ganto dati eh. Namimiss ko yung dating Heather.

"What?" Sabay naming sinabi nung lalaking umaaway kay Heather.

"This nerd? Is your boyfriend?" These words doesn't hurt anymore. Di na ko nasasaktan sa mga sinasabi nya, sa mga sinasabi nila.

"Bakit? May angal ka? Atleast hindi nya ko pagpapalit sa bestfriend ko dba? Yung halos lunukin na yung isa't isa?" Wala akong maintindihan sa sinasabi nila kahit isa.

Ano kaya sinasabi ni Heather?!

Ugh, she's going to be so dead!

"Mark, let's go na." Hinila nya kamay ko at umalis na kami.

"Mark, I'll explain."

"You better."

"Okay." Sagot ko.

"What, okay?"

"Reallyy?! Thank youuuu so much! You're the best."

"Ang kondisyon ko, bawal tayo mafall sa isa't isa."

"Yun lang pala eh. Thank you so much! I love you!"

Hindi ako galit sakanya, pero sana sabihin nya muna sakin. Alm mo kung bat yun ang kondisyon ko?

Simple lang, I can't lose her again.
