Poetry {Mostly Free Verse}

Mind

Some people cut on the outside
But I abide
By my own laws
And that's to
1. Know my flaws
2. Make sure I get back at them
3. Stay with my "friends"
4. Keep my thoughts to myself
5. Don't tell anyone
6. Cry when no ones around
7. Let the nightmares happen
8. Wear my makeup
9. Wear my fake smile
10. Don't eat
11. Don't trust anyone
12. Don't fall in love
13. Don't show any true emotions
14. Plan for the end
15. But never do it
16. Don't cut cause then they'll know
17. Be quiet
18. Don't give them your opinions
19. Show them you honestly don't give a f&@
20. Lie to everyone
These are my laws I follow I may not have the scars to prove that I'm messed up. But in the end my mind is just as messed up as yours. I just don't show it but ask me my story and maybe you just might understand.
Then just MAYBE you'll understand.
But probably not.
You would only understand if your brain was as messed up as mine.
