I didn't ask for the disappearing pit

Apparently, Arnold's parent's had already agreed to provide the transportation, so at noon, Arnold's parents had picked us all up, and we went merrily on our way

The way to our destination? Absolutely unpredictable. I don't even know where we were going half the time. The destination? Also completely unpredictable. Apparently, this "haunted mansion" was really a wooden shack. Like, a claustrophobic wooden shack. "Well, that is weird" Arnold said when we saw where we were going to enter. Rocky opened the door. It was only enough for all of us to squeeze in. "You guys think its a coincidence that its only big enough for all of us to go in but no one else?" Chloe said. Arnold replied a little sarcastically "Possibly there are hundreds of these shacks that all can hold a certain amount of people. Yeah we could put that in mind". Arnold's parents then said "Well, we'll leave you guys to it" They clambered back into the car, and sped back. I guess we were on our own.

"So, who wants to go in first? Any volunteers?" Arnold said. Annabeth replied "How about we all go in so we can endure this all together. How does that sound?" We all shrugged. "Sounds good to me" said Zachariah. So we squeezed in. The door shut, and the floor disappeared. We all died. The end.

Well, not really. It only felt like we were going to die. I heard someone retch, and I hoped that the person who had retched would have no one landing in it. With just my luck, I landed smack dab right next to it. That stench smelled like someone had burnt an onion, threw it into the garbage can to rot for a month, then filled an air freshener with it as a prank. My eyes watered. "Uhhh, guys?" Eliza said. She sounded like she was on a verge of a panic attack. "You guys should probably look at this."
