[A/N: This was requested by LoveWeebForever! This is one of three requests I got a month ago, I'm so sorry I'm slow and doing them out of order ^^' Before you start I want to mention that China is written so the POV can be interpreted as either male or female :DD If you're confused my some of the terms I use to describe wings, there's an explanation right before the translations. A final note: angels have white wings, fallen angels have varying shades of grey, and demons have bat-like wings but aren't mentioned here. Enjoy!]

"All I'm saying is that she should get to make her own decisions!" I glare angrily at the blonde standing across from me, arms crossed and emotions getting the better of me.
My wings flare out defensively as I face the American. Normally, I'm calmer than this. But, normally, my best friend doesn't brush past me in tears due to an argument.
"Yea, okay, she does," America admits begrudgingly before continuing, "but I'm the hero and I need to protect her from baddies like you!" the angel smiles smugly as if his point has been undoubtedly proven, wings half-flared with confidence.
"Baddies? America, he's her twin," I gesture helplessly at the small form of South, who's meekly standing off to the side of the argument.
The poor angel has her creamy-coloured wings drawn in defensively, and she looks as if she's actively trying to melt into the background. America doesn't seem to notice — either that or he just doesn't care — and he continues to draw out the argument. I'd have left long ago if South weren't here to witness the whole thing.
"So??" the blonde angel retorts, as if blood ties and childhood memories were insignificant, "It doesn't matter: you ashwings are always bad influences! And I won't let you ruin my friend," America pouts a bit, as if my mere presence taints the air.
Frowning angrily, I bristle at the slur, "North isn't going to ruin anyone, let alone his sister!" before the angel can come up with another senseless excuse, I pinch the bridge of my nose and sigh tiredly, "Look: you won't listen to reason, and South is obviously uncomfortable. I'm calling quits."
I don't wait for the response, and instead turn on my heel. As I exit the small courtyard that played host to our heated argument, I can hear America's exclamation of "Victory!" over the soft pad of my shoes. Rolling my eyes dismissively, I try to brush off the whole encounter: right now I need to focus on finding North, and the American's contempt is not worth my energy.
The Korean isn't in our dorms, nor the library or our favourite lunch spot. Several other angels ask me if I'm okay when they notice my heavy breathing and urgent movements, and I hurriedly assure them I'm fine before continuing my search. At least they have the decency to realise that my slate grey wings have no bearing on my personality. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the loud American.
After ten minutes of frantic running, I've searched the entire campus and North is nowhere to be found. Poor dude, I bet he's all alone right now ... biting my lip in concentration, I try to figure out where he would have flown off to. North's not here, which means he's off-campus ... but he hasn't signed out, which means he's somewhere illicit. I scour my brain for possible locations, and then it hits me: there's this waterfall we found on a weekend trip down to Earth. It's pretty, isolated, and calming — he's bound to be there.
This time as I cross campus I walk at a steady pace, cheongsam rippling gently with my movements. I greet people and smile and say hi and deflect attention until I finally reach the area behind our dorms that's the closest to the edge of our school. Students have been using this place as a secret gateway forever and for some reason the staff haven't caught on. Either way, I give a cautious glance over my shoulder before tip-toeing over to the fringe of the clouds where they thin enough to reveal the lush green of Earth. I love sitting here and just staring down sometimes, the vibrancy of the planet contrasting with the cool marble buildings I'm usually surrounded with.
