To those that don't know me I play softball. If you don't what that is think of it like girl baseball(there are some differences which I can cover later if anyone is interested). Now I've been playing softball for 9 years now, would have be 10 but I suffered from an ACL tear and other issues regarding my knee, and during that time I have played on many different teams. If going to try and keep this brief because idk how many people actually care but I'm rly happy about what just happened. So in short there are two different leagues of softball. Wreck Ball and Tournament ball. Simplest way to explain it is this:
- ppl with not a ton of money or low level skill in the sport play wreck ball
- people with money and girls with better abilities or higher level skill play tournament ball
Now this is not to say all wreck players are bad. Sometimes it more based on the money aspect. Anyway I'm in tournament ball and there is this one team that my team used to always lose to. You see I'm very competitive so losing already kinda of frustrates me but this team OHOHOHOHOooooo👿. To put it delicately they are not the nicest people out there (I'm trying not to curse). Let's lay out what they typically do:
- make fun of our pitchers (telling her she's worthless, she shouldn't be playing softball, what was the other one to get off the field)
- The catcher for that team (person behind home plate by the person with the big stick thingy aka a bat) constantly curses the batters out.
- The coach of that team tells em to do it
- a lot of times you pray after the games (you don't have to say anything Incase it not your religion to pray or something we try to be respectful) they didn't even come over and join us( it had become standard to do this after games basically they were just being female dogs)
- they laugh at us when we lose
WELL GUESS WHAT
