Author's Note: Hi there my lovely readers. Thank you for reading another chapter. 💞

Chapter 16: A Day at Home.

The young child crawls out of bed with his blanket still wrapped around him like a cloak. He whimpers, unwraps himself from the blanket and makes his bed. Miss Chillia said we made a new record, something like that is meant to be really good, it's supposed to be a great achievement.

Raditz sighs, as he walks out of his room. But, Mother dismissed it, like it was nothing and Father... he was annoyed. He thinks it's not good enough.

He keeps his head down as he walks through the hallway. I guess Turles and I were wrong to get excited about it... He stops in front of the bathroom door.

Raditz closes his eyes and focuses his ears. He hears the distant clanks of pots from the kitchen. Mother is in the kitchen. He focuses more.

He faintly hears the voices of his parents talking. Father is with Mother then. Raditz sighs in relief and enters the bathroom.

Gine leans forward on the kitchen counter, eyes on her life partner finishing off his plate of breakfast.
"Bardock, do you think we'll get the room finished today?"

"Hmm?" Bardock swallows his mouthful and looks up from his food to Gine. "Of course, I told you already, I'll be here with you all day."

Gine folds her arms. "What about for training?"

"Well..."

"Bardock...? What about training?" She glares at him. "If you're leaving the house for that, then it means you won't be here all day!" She shouts. "Why would you say you're going to be here all day, when you won't be here for all of the day!" Her tail thrashes around in anger.

"Alright, alright. I'll re-phrase it. I'll be here with you for most of the day." Bardock specifies, then returns to eating.

Gine sighs. "Thank you for your honesty." She replies with a pout.

Bardock lets out a little chuckle.

"Bardock."

"Yeah?" He replies with his mouth full.

"I love you."

Bardock swallows the food in his mouth and looks at Gine. "Love you too." He whispers.

The couple suddenly hears a growl coming from Gine's body.

"Gine." Bardock gives her a strong look. "Have you eaten yet Gine?"

Gine shrinks under his gaze, she frowns and blushes a little.
"Noo..." She quietly replies.

"Gine!" The strong male scowls and stands from his seat, towering over his petite partner. "You're meant to be eating for two. So you should be way more attentive to eating, not neglecting yourself."

Gine holds her head low. "I know... sorry Bardock..."

Bardock sighs. "Eat first, then we'll go back to working on the room."

"Yes Sir."

Bardock sighs harders.

Raditz sits on his bed as he reads a thick book.

He finishes the book, then puts it back on his shelf. He goes to a notebook he has and writes in some notes.

I'm so hungry... Raditz frowns, then focuses his ears.
