The person who killed Melonie was Mason kilt, jackson knew that guy. One summer jackson was drunk and was playing poker with mason and a few other guys, jackson lost but thats not all he had to give the winner forty grand, and the winner was mason. Jackson ran off and mason screamed just before jackson left, "one day i will get you back and take the money that is rightfully mine".
