H Y P O C R I T E

Drew Young doesn't believe in witches or ghosts or anything supernatural because she thinks that it would be stupid to. I mean come on she's a woman of science! But she does think she's cursed. Like really cursed. Why you might ask? Well, she keeps getting pulled back to a place she calls hell on Earth. It's where her mother died from a simple routine surgery gone wrong by a surgeon's own mistake and her dad exploded there. Like blow up, splat on the wall kind of exploded.

So yeah, Drew doesn't believe in the supernatural but she does think Seattle Grace Mercy West hospital is the root of all her problems and yet, she keeps having to go back. Whether it's her boyfriend having an freak accident at the school he works at or one of her own patients needing her, (she's a psychologist by the way) she's always pulled back. She hates the place, like really hates the place, so someone tell her why she accepted a job there? Because she sure doesn't know.

But what she does know is she's damn good at her job. She's always wanted to help people since she was young, and being a psychologist has let her do that. So, maybe that's why she accepted the job, she just wants to help people because she didn't have any when she was going through her trauma filled childhood. She always tells her patients not to bottle up their emotions (which sounds stupid, she knows but really it works). Yet, she does the opposite of what she tells her patients.

She keeps years of unsaid trauma under the surface of her skin. Her boyfriend always tells her that one day she's probably going explode, (not like her dad of course, like mental breakdown explode from all the stress) but that hasn't happened yet, so she's good.

Basically, Drew Young ignores her own problems to help others, but really all she is, is a hypocrite.
