The wind of Jötunheim cut through the strong armor of the Asgardian soldiers. At every angle, battle raged with enough blood spilling to coat the whole of the palaces of both the Asgardian palace and to mop the floors of the whole of Jötunheim.

There was a shout in the distance as Thor slammed Mjölnir into the icy grounds of the Jötuns. Screams pierced the air, one more sign of death, provoked by the unholy lightning of Thor. Among the battle was a woman. She stumbled, almost tripping. Looking down, she was met with the sight of her foot sinking into the mauled body of a late Asgardian.

"SLAVE!" the unmistakable voice of Laufey screeched. She looked over her shoulder, only to find his cold, lifeless eyes staring back. Taking tentative steps, she made her way towards Laufey. Ten yards away from getting slapped just so Laufey can let out his anger of being attacked, 5 yards. An Asgardian fell in front of her; she looked down with hard eyes. Laufey had broken her, made sure she knew no mercy.

"Kill the pathetic creature, slave." Laufey snarled. She continued to stare at the helpless body, whilst it suffered from a deep wound in its side. Without a second thought, she plunged her sword hilt deep through the Asgardian, making the sword sink through its body into the bloody ground.

"How may I be of assistance?" She spoke.

"Use your magic, slave. I care not if you deplete yourself, or kill yourself in the process, but use your magic to kill them all, all but Odin. Odin is mine. You will bring him back to me, as unharmed as possible." She listened to his instructions, only faltering for a second. Laufey knew the girl had only small amounts of magic, only the tiny amount taught to her by her mother-that she'd since only used in deathly ways-she pushed the thought away. She knew that he meant it when he said that he didn't care about her life. He had rooms full of slaves. She nodded, and proceeded across the battlefield, killing all the Asgardians in her sight, skirting her magic as best she could around the Jötuns.

She arrived at the top of a large boulder, noting the location of Odin and whom he was fighting alongside with. She smirked, recognizing Thor's normally kept hair wild and unruly, defying gravity.  She waited for the two to turn around, revealing another body. She tilted her head, not knowing who the body belonged to. She waited for a face, but never got one, she had only gotten the color of which his armor collar had been. And it had been green.

She rolled her eyes, not having time for the other two imbeciles. She was secretly grateful for the seconds of observation, for they had given some time to gather a bit more magic. She looked back to where the three musketeers had been before. They looked closer...she shrugged, it only made her job easier. She glanced to her left and found a nook in the boulder; climbing down into the nook, she hid herself from direct sight. Within minutes, the battle cries of Thor could be heard, along with the thud of dead bodies hitting the ground.

She squeezed her eyes shut, and opened her arms in invitation. She felt the dark power coursing through her as she concentrated on Thor and the other figure. She opened her eyes, enacting the magic. Her senses fizzled back into focus, and she heard the thunderous shouts of Thor die down as two bodies within two feet collapsed to the cold ground. She gasped in exhaustion. She let out her breath, which puffed in white air in front of her face. She swayed slightly and collapsed soon after. She struggled to keep her eyes open, and only saw the looming face of a man with a golden eye patch. She sneered in disgust knowing the face instantly. It was the sour face of Odin. Before she had the chance to comment on his sorry ass, she fell face first, barely aware of the sticky snow beneath her.

Odin loomed over her, and she felt herself suddenly overwhelmed with an urge to show him every sign of disrespect she could think of. She wanted to spit in his face, kick him in the knees and drive knives through his heart. All he had done was look at her, and she hated him.
