Spring: Chapter 1

I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm clock ringing. I flicked the switch to terminate the sound and rushed to the bathroom to get ready for school. I sighed.

Spring Break passed by quite quickly, like all other school vacations did. It really irritated the heck out of me.

Harry and I remained in contact with each other since last Christmas; I haven't seen him since then. We've gotten quite close, from the constant direct messages on twitter to the funny conversations via phone call.

Truthfully, I had no idea what was going on between us. I don't know if we had a thing or if we were just really, really close friends. It was hard to describe.

I walked on the sidewalk home from school as the warm spring breeze grazed against my cheek. The flower petals drifted into oblivion as they fell off their branches. I smiled at the beautiful weather; not a cloud was in sight is the perfect blue sky.

I turned the corner on my street and rushed to my house; my stomach grumbled in hunger and anticipation for another one of my mother's delicacies.

"Hey, mom. I'm home!"

"Hello, Kyla. I'm almost finished cooking. Oh and go upstairs and clean your closet! I have something hiding up there for you," my mom said.

My closet? I remembered cleaning that last weekend. What could have my mother been hiding? I hoped it was money; I was almost broke.

I opened my closet and stared at it confusingly. Nothing seem to be any different...

"Boo!" Harry said has he jumped out from behind my favorite top. I almost fell back in surprise. I jumped into his arms anyway.

"Oh my gosh, what are you doing here? I thought you were in London with the boys!"

"Our manager let us in on a week holiday for all of our hard work. I took it as the opportunity to see my best girl," he said as he smiled. I blushed in response.

"I'm so glad you're here! I missed you so much!" I exclaimed and hugged him more tightly.

"Easy, Kyla. Don't break my back," he replied back to me while laughing.

"So how was the UK tour?"

"It was great, but I would've enjoyed it more if you were there."

Spring: Chapter 2

Harry and I walked peacefully in Central Park talking just about everything. The tour, my school, the weather, food. The usual; it never really got awkward between us no matter how quiet it got.

"I really missed you; a lot," Harry softly whispered in my ear as we say down at a bench under a nearby tree.

"I missed you, too," I whispered back.

I mindlessly watched the little sparrows looking for food for its babies. I tried to look for something else to say, but my mind was completely blank. Harry broke the silence saying,

"I really like you."

I didn't exactly know what he meant my that; it was really a vague reply. Did it mean he likes me as a friend? Or did he actually meant he liked me more than that?

"I really like you too," I said with a smile.

Harry's face turned serious. "No, I mean, I really really like you. As more than a friend..." his voice trailed off.

"Oh. That's what you meant."

What else was I supposed to respond to that? Of course I liked him; was he asking me out or something or did he just want to tell me. My mind ached from all of my over thinking.

"I'm not exactly sure what you want me to reply though," I said to him.

"Say you like me too and this will be 10x easier than planned," he said with a smirk.

"Hmmm. Okay then, I guess I like you too," I said with a giggle.

Then without any other warning, he leaned in closer until I could feel the warmth of his breath on my nose, and he kissed me lightly.

Spring: Chapter 3

"Harry, eat first before you leave. I cooked extra rice," my said to him as she walked back into the kitchen.

It was the end of Harry's holiday as given to him by management and my mom decided to invite him over for dinner. She kind of knew we had a thing going on ever since the beginning. I think she was actually very fond of him; or maybe it was just the accent. I'm not sure.

"Thank you, Mrs. Fernando. I appreciate it," Harry replied back to her.

My mom managed to avoid embarrassing me for the remainder of the dinner, which I was thankful for. Harry seemed to be enjoying himself as well, which made me relax a bit better.

When it was finally time for him to leave, I walked out with him to the porch, trying to hide the obvious look of sadness on my face.

"Don't worry, we'll see each other soon. Promise me you'll visit me in London over the summer?" Harry said with another smirk.

"I promise."

He kissed me lightly on the lips again and walked down the stairs to his car. He turned back to wave at me and drove away.

I walked back into the house where my mother was and sat down on the couch.

"So, he is your boyprend?" my mother said.

I laughed and replied, "Yeah."
