THE FEELINGS PART-1

MIDDLE OF NOWHERE.

J-hope looked around his surroundings and marvelled at the beauty of the forest they were driving through. "Wah this is such a beautiful drive" he said smiling ear to ear.

"Did you eat unicorns for lunch?! Cause you're shitting rainbows right now! Are you seriously talking about the surroundings in front of me?! READ THE ROOM!" Saekyung shot back gesturing to J-hope.

His expression darkened "well nobody asked for your expert opinion! Miss whatever your name is." he said giving her death stares and refused to address her with her name even though he knew who she was very well. He remembered her as the crazy dancing doctor.

"Fiery!" Saekyung sounded impressed but J-hope had an angry expression on his face.

"What's wrong with you J-hope? You're a literal bowl of sunshine. But your expression right now is far from that" Jimin sounded concerned for his friend.

"I am fine Jimin." he replied. J-hope couldn't comprehend why he behaved like that. For some reason Saekyung made his blood boil.

TIME SKIP
THE BANGTAN TOWERS.

The remaining guys were anxiously waiting for the others to return. They were hopeful that SooMin would be with them. "What's taking them so long?" Jungkook asked clinging onto Jin "They'll be here soon don't worry" Jin said soothing the youngest of his brothers.

At this moment the doorbell rang. "They're here" Yoongi walked upto the door and opened it. J-hope, Jimin, SooMin and a girl he didn't recognise were standing there.

"Who's she?" Yoongi asked pointing at Saekyung "Just a nobody" J-hope shot back and went inside. Saekyung glared at his back. J-hope couldn't get hold of his feelings for Saekyung. She made his blood boil but at the same time he felt a need to protect her.

"She's my best friend, Dr Song Saekyung. She works with me at your hospital" SooMin replied as they made their way to the hall."Hi everyone I am Song Saekyung but you can call me Saekyung. No need for formalities." She said sitting beside Jin on the couch as SooMin introduced the guys.

"Where's Namjoon and Taehyung?" Jin asked J-hope. "They're on their way, he just texted me" J-hope said waving his phone.

At this moment the door flinged open and Taehyung walked in clearly looking for something and stopped as his eyes fell on SooMin.

Taehyung wasn't thinking clearly. He quickly made his way to her. "Are you okay?" He asked holding her face. "Ssss" SooMin hissed at his touch.

He removed his hand and saw her swollen cheek, his eyes then fell on the cut Jackson had made over her clavicle. He took her in his embrace.

"I am so sorry I wasn't there to protect you. I should have been there. I will not let this slide." he said tightening his embrace as Saekyung looked curiously at them.

"Awww look at you two." Namjoon said as he came in and sat on the couch. Taehyung was snapped out of his trance and he let go of her. "You and Saekyung have been through a lot tonight. Why don't you guys get some rest?" Taehyung asked keeping his eyes leveled with Soomin's.

"No its okay my apartment is just across from here. We'll get going. Thank you for saving me... I mean US" SooMin said correcting herself.

"No, its too dangerous. They might be waiting there for you to come back. Sleep here in our guest room tonight. You can go in the morning." Jin said interfering. SooMin and Saekyung both agreed to what Jin had to say. Jimin showed them to their room.

"Are you okay?" Saekyung asked examining Soomin's cheek and her cut. "Yeah I just need some ice and maybe some first aid and I'll be fine" SooMin said.

There was a knock on the door. "Here put this to your cheek and I believe your friend can help you with the first aid" Taehyung said handing a bag of ice and first aid kit to SooMin.

"Were you listening to us talk?" Saekyung asked him. He shook his head "I saw that she had swollen cheek and cut so I got this for her" Taehyung replied and then left.

"Yah Soomin-ah. Something's definitely wrong with these people!" Saekyung said almost whisper yelling. "What do you mean Kyung-ah?" SooMin asked anxiously.

"Its just that when we were kidnapped I heard animal like growling and grunting noises" she said looking at SooMin hoping that her best friend would believe her.

"What are you talking about Kyung-ah? All I heard was punches and kick noises. No growling or anything like that" SooMin assured her friend feeling bad about the lying.

Saekyung was shocked to hear this why doesn't her best friend believe her when she had a similar experience 2 yrs back and nobody believed her. This behaviour of her best friend confused her even more.

Time skip midnight

SooMin couldn't sleep. She snuck out of the guest room and tip toed to the kitchen. She took a glass of milk and gulped it down realising that she was starving. "Brrrggrrr" her stomach growled with hunger. "Aishhh shut up stomach" she said holding her stomach.

"Wow you're loud." sudden voice behind her made her jump. SooMin adjusted her eyes in the dark. "Mr Kim... sorry for waking you up. I was just hungry" SooMin said looking down.

"You can call me Taehyung. No need for formalities. Did you not have your dinner? He asked concerned. "Oh actually I was so busy getting kidnapped that it slipped my mind" she joked.

"Come on" Taehyung said extending his hand. "Where are we going Mr Kim..I mean Taehyung? She asked taking his hand. "I know a ramen place nearby which will be open at this time" he said leading her to the garage.

Time skip
Ramyeon shop.

Taehyung looked at SooMin as she slurped her ramyeon enjoying each and every bit of it. "You're an easy girl to impress, aren't you?" He asked her amused at the way she was eating ramyeon.

"Ooh I love ramyeon. Any kind, with a lots of veggies and meat. Give me a bowl like this and I will be the happiest" she replied without stopping.

"Thank you for this. I was starving" SooMin said finally finishing her ramyeon. "It is and will always be my pleasure to treat you to food that you love." Taehyung replied smiling.

Both of them got into Taehyung's car and drove off towards home. SooMin sat with her eyes closed enjoying the breeze on her face. A strand of hair was troubling her sleep. Taehyung noticed this and moved her hair out of her face so that she could fall asleep peacefully.

They reached back to the towers and by this time SooMin was fast asleep in the passenger seat. Taehyung looked at her, not wanting to wake her up, he picked her up bridal style and took her to the guest room.

Saekyung was sleeping peacefully and he put her down beside her. "She looks so beautiful." he thought to himself. "I want you to love me for who I am and not because of your past memories. Please like me for who I am because I like you for who you are" Taehyung muttered under his breath as he left the room.

Saekyung slowly opened her eyes after Taehyung left the room. "What did he mean by past memories? What are they planning to do with my best friend?" Saekyung thought to herself as she bought herself closer to SooMin wrapping her arm around her protectively and falling asleep soon after.
