THE DATE

BANGTAN TOWERS.

Saekyung was sitting in the guest room. Suddenly the things around her started shaking. It was an earthquake. She realised she had heard an alert before and  it was not as prominent because the epicenter was farther away from the towers than hospital. After few minutes the shaking stopped.

"I should check on SooMin" she said pulling out her phone. After a few rings she heard Soomin's voice. "Are you okay?" She asked her concerned about her best friend since she wasn't there to protect her.

"Yeah I-I am okay" SooMin replied. At this way of speaking Saekyung understood something wasn't right. "What happened tell me?!" Saekyung ordered her best friend. "Like I said I am fine Kyung-ah. Nothing to worry about." She replied trying to calm her down. "I am on my way" Saekyung said hanging up and picking up her bag.

"Where do you think you're going? Don't you remember we had to save your kidnapped ass." an angry voice said from behind her. Saekyung turned around to face J-hope. "And what makes you think I am going to listen to you?" Saekyung shot back trying to get past him to leave.

He held her arm and pulled her back inside the room. "If it wasn't for you being Soomin's best friend I would not have controlled myself. You're a pain. You should be tied down" He said giving her death glares. "Watch me leave!" She smiled sarcastically and started to walk.

At this point J-hope gave up and remembered what his hyung told him. "Hobi please I know you don't like her but do this for SooMin. She loves her best friend. I know you like SooMin. Keep Saekyung safe for her sake." Jin's words echoed in his ears. He sighed finally giving up and followed behind Saekyung.

J-hope drove as Saekyung sat in the passenger's seat. Saekyung leaned her head against the back rest and let the cold air hit her face. Her eyes drooped slowly and she felt drowsy. She fell asleep while J-hope drove in silence. He looked over at her and had an unfamiliar feeling in his gut.

"Aargh!" he felt sharp shooting pain which soon disappeared and random scenes started playing infront of his eyes. All the scenes that were flashing infront of his eyes had Saekyung in them. He was kissing her in few of them. He saw her in a wedding dress walking down the aisle. Then he was pulled out of his trance and he pushed the break bringing the car to a halt.

"What is wrong with you!" Saekyung yelled at the sudden jerk she felt. "Are you trying to kill me or something?!" Saekyung yelled at him and he snapped.

"Shut the fuck up! Stop talking for once like shut up! Not everyone can deal with a person like you!" J-hope yelled at her almost loosing control over himself and his beastly features starting to show. He turned his face away calming himself down before facing Saekyung against.

She was extremely furious at him but she didn't show. J-hope understood what his actions had done and sudden feeling of guilt overwhelmed him. The rest of the drive was quite except for a few annoyed huffs here and there from Saekyung's side.

J-hope kept quiet thinking about all those scenes that flashed infront of his eyes. He didn't know what to make out of that and what he wanted to know the most was why all had Saekyung in them. His expression more serious than ever he drove in silence till they reached the hospital.

Bangtan hospital.

"Soomin-ah!" A shrill voice filled the hallways of 14th floor. Soomin turned around to see Saekyung and J-hope approach her. "What are you two doing here?" SooMin asked surprised looking at her best friend and her 'temporary bodyguard'. "I was worried sick about you after the earthquake." she said looking around at the rubble in the ward.

"What happened?" Saekyung asked pointing at the fallen ceiling. "Uh that umm it was because of the earthquake and I was under that bed" she said pointing towards a bed far from the point of impact. SooMin was not ready to accept what happened earlier.
