chapter#8 The Man Who Sees Me

i turn around and then i see him the man he had blonde hair like my father and beautiful blue electric eyes also like my father i keep staring at him and he finally speaks "my adina is that you?" a tear streams down my face at the remembrance of my fathers voice "the real question is who are you why do you look like my f-father" i cant hold it in any longer i burst out into small cries and fall to my knees as i picture my fathers death *I'm just about 4 years old and I'm in my father grip as he hold me up on his hip he kisses me on my forehead and then puts me down i ask "daddy when will you be home?" he just smiles as tears run down his face "my angel i promise you i will see you again" after that he walks away i remember a few days after there was a knock on the door mommy was crying and she was screaming i didn't like it when mommy screamed she didn't sound happy but i know what would make her feel better playing with stuffies that always makes me feel better i ran to my toy box and grabbed two stuffed animals i ran to mommy and then gave her a stuffie and then she hugged it and gave a watery smile we played for a few minutes but then she said daddy wont be able to make it home for along time i don't know why "why mommy wheres daddy?" she just smiled and said "in a better place my dear child"* i look at the man and ask him "how do you know my name?"
