Rushing down the street, i didnt pay attintion to where i was running. Slipping; i fell onto a girl about my height.
Her gigngery hair was pulled into a bun, and she only wore a white night dress and a black fur coat. "Im so sor-"
"Sister?"
I froze. My blood ran cold. Growing up, my mother always told me about these......demons that would dopelgange you and try to trick you into thinking they were some kind of lost relative.
Shaking my fear off, I offered her a kind smile. "Im sorry miss, but i think youve mistaken me for someone else. Now if you would excuse me I real-"
"No"
I looked at her speachless. "Excuse me?" She gave me a blank look. " I said no, are you going deaf sister?" I bit my lip, "Ma'am, Im not your sister. Now please would yo-"
"I said no!" Just as she was about to shove me against the ground, a man shoved her out of reach.
"Sammy?" I squeaked out. He gave me a lopsided grin, before he stabbed a knife through her stomach.
She let out a ear peircing schreech, before she crumbled to a pile of black ash. I stared; shocked to the bone. Looking around, I looked for anyone else who could have possibly seen that; or at least heard the scream. Nobody even looked at us.
Well thats just great.
Scooping me up, Sammy started running toward his apartment. Looking back to were we had currently been standing, i noticed a man in a trench coat scooping up the-the things remanins.
What the hell has Sammy gotten me into?
