Taymor took a breath in and out rapidly trying to calm his nerves. This would be his absolute last child, his fourth boy at that.
"Cmon baby! Ya doin great!" Kentrell encouraged on the side of him.
"I-I-." Taymor started to whine
"Aht! You betta not say you cant do it, cuz lets not forget two years ago you pushed three babies out in the same day. You got this Taymor, you always have." Kentrell whispered in his ear and kissed his sweat covered forehead.
"O-Okay." Taymor complied and started to push as hard as he could. And soon enough their newborn son was screaming out, or so they thought.
"Time of birth 9:54 pm! Gender: Female!" The doctor yelled out to the nurse waiting at the table to document their new addition.
"Female? Nah, I had a boy, check again doc." Taymor weakly pushed out with a smirk
"Ummm no. Your baby seems to be a girl. This happens all the time-." The doctor tried to explain how gender slip ups were very common.
"Whatchu mean??!! You tellin me you can't do yo job right??? Imma bea-." Kentrell yelled as he started to stand up, until Tay grabbed at his wrists.
"Hey, hey, calm down. She'll do just fine, thats still my baby. Now go clip her cord off so i can hold my lil girl." Taymor calmly expressed
Kentrell huffed and went over to his new baby. All his anger went away when she wrapped her tiny little hand around his finger causing him to tear up. No matter what everytime Kentrell always cried at the birth of his children even though Tay didn't.
After cutting the cord the doctor wrapped her up and handed right to Taymor. To which he cooed and immediately began smiling at her.
"Daddy gone protect you. So will yo momma and yo brothers. We promise you gone always come first. Always." Kentrell spoke through a cracked voice and tears.

FUN FACT: the doctors told my family i was gonna be a boy and my brother got sooo excited cuz he's the only boy. but when i came he was like wtf????? he still turned me into a mini him tho🥰
