Adalia (Charlāe's mother)-
I worry very much about Charlāe, she's special. I know I'm a mother I'm supposed to say that. It's true though, she's like her father with her outlook of life. When she has an idea in her mind she won't stop until she gets the job done.
That worries me though, I saw her day dreaming a minute ago. She's been doing that a lot lately which isn't like her. I asked her
"Charlāe can you get me some water please?" Breaking her out of her thoughts, but not as long as I had hoped for.
She sees me as a stone, it makes me feel weak and that I've let her down. I keep her hidden away from the world because the man that murdered her father knows who she is, though she doesn't know him. I don't want what happened to Dale (her father) to happen to her, I really would die.
I couldn't live with myself if something happened to her, she's the only precious thing I have left. But her latest zoning has caused me worry, she'll be eighteen in two weeks, she won't have to listen to me anymore even if its for her own good.
I know Charlāe has wanted revenge since the day of crimson, I've always kept her hidden from everyone in fear of her safety. I know she's planning something out, I'll have to pray and hope that she doesn't find the murderer of us all. That's all ill be able to do she won't allow more. This is her journey and she'll fight her fight, whether I agree or not..
