" Adrien I want to tell you something very important before you ask any question. Before coming to Paris I have applied for a job in a very famous company and that company is none other than THE GABRIEL AGRESTE FASHION COMPANY! "

MARINETTE'S POV:

I was very nervous when those words escaped my mouth.

"Adrien"

"Adrien"

He didn't respond. I guessed that he didn't like what I said.

" Look Adrien I know you are disapp- woah!"

ADRIEN'S POV:

I was very surprised and so ecstatic that I didn't believe my ears what she just said. I can't believe she applied for her intern in my office. But I don't know how to respond. I was so busy in my thoughts that I forgot somebody was calling out my name and I soon realised that voice .

"Look Adrien I know you are disapp- woah!" I cut her off and hugged her tightly and spun her around like a crazy man. She was squirming due to my bear hug.

"Adrien Stop! Stop it!"

" No I won't unless you tell me whatever you said was truth actually it should be universal truth." I said breathlessly.

"Yes! whatever I have said is truth or so called " universal truth" in your language." She rolled her eyes.

"Really!"

"Yes really you doof and now stop spinning me around and put me down to earth. I sometimes wonder from where you get so much of energy!" She was panting heavily as I put her down. She smacked me on my biceps. Oh god! that was so hard that it caused me to say

"Ouch! From where did you get so much of strength?" Her body might be a petite one but she possess the strength of Mr. Hulk from Avengers. She is a pure exception just like inorganic chemistry which itself is so complicated and an exception. But if I told her this she would definitely slay me and I would be so dead!

" Ha you know my secret power." I rolled my eyes." Anyways were you happy or sad with me applying for intern at your office?"

Ok I know she is oblivious but how could someone be so much oblivious of the reaction which I had just given to her.

"What do you think?" I asked with a straight face.

"Uhm.... Happy no wait disappointed no uhm happy or sad I don't know...."

"...." I literally facepalmed.

"It's obvious that I am very happy. Now who's the doof?" I smirked.

"Obviously you!" She stuck out her tongue.

"Huh! how me it's you who was not able to guess whether I am happy or sad." A dramatic frown was tugged at my face.

"Actually you both are oblivious, dork, doof and etc." A unison voice said.

We turned our gaze to the voice that caught off our guard from our silly conversation.

"MOM! DAD! did you just see all of his stupid actions and hear our silly conversation!" She exclaimed with a worry on her face. I gave her straight face for calling my reactions stupid but she shrugged it off. Uhhh that's what I love about her. Her Badass attitude for which I fall more often and daily.

"Yes we did." They giggled and started doing their work while we helped them in their baking work.

"Hey Marinette when did you arrive and you informed all of my friends except me!" A frown plastered on my face while I pouted.
