*visitor comes*.
"Wow you've grown so much. It's been so long I saw you. Take.*gives you 5k* I know it's small but manage it. "
*Visitor leaves*
Mother: "how much did he/she give you?"
Me: "it's just ehm...*deciding whether to lie or not*...it's 5k."
Mother:"oya give me let me keep it for you so that your brothers won't collect it.".
*Me realizing it's true then gives it to my mom*

~Two weeks later~
Me: "ehen mummy please I want to use the money I gave you."
Mother:"oh. I don't have cash with me. Don't worry, when I withdraw money I will give you."

~Two weeks later~
Me:" mummy brother told me that you went to the bank last week. Please can you give me the money.
Mother:" see this child oh. Me your mother, because I collected your money, you want to act like this to me. You are ungrateful. After carrying you in my womb for not even nine but ten months, this is what I get. Don't worry. I will pay you. Since this is what my life has turned into.
*Me after being destroyed emotionally(mostly because of the ten months part)*
Me: "mummy am sorry. I don't need the money any more. I didn't mean to hurt you."
Mother:"I know. Don't worry. I also didn't mean it. You know sometimes I overeact."
*Walks away*

*Foolish me realizing it was emotional blackmail*
Me:" Chaii🙆🙆"
