Chapter 1~ Wizards Are Not That Light

Jax welcomed Emma and Daniel into his house. He wasn't expecting Daniel to be there.

"Emma why did you bring him?" he walks through his house trying to find his way to the study.

"You said it was an emergency, and I was getting a smoothie at the Seven with Daniel. I didn't wanna leave him." Emma said.

"What's the big emergency?" Daniel asked while examining his halls covered with paintings.

"I'll show you..." Jax said as he opened the door to his study.

All three walked into the room. It had heaps of books on bookshelfs. It had a dark hard wood and a white leather couch surrounding a coffee table. On the coffee table was a crystal ball, like the kind fortune tellers used. The only thing odd was that the fog in the crystal ball was a blood red color.

"Come on Jax you brought us all this was to show us a crystal ball." Emma exclaimed.

"I bet it can tell the future." Daniel said mockingly.

"You to don't understand! This crystal ball tells me the mood of the Magic Realm." He sits down on the couch.

"So its a glorified mood ring." Daniel says sitting down across from Jax with Emma. He didn't get it.

"No, look at the color!" Jax points to the crystal ball again. "That means something must have happened in the Realm, or to some important magic being that is making it mad."

"Like what?" Emma states unsure about the situaion she is in.

"Just ask the magic ball it tells all!" Daniel laughed at his own joke, but soon stopped because no one else was laughing.

"Maybe we could cast a spell to see what is going on?"

"I've already tried that!" Jax explained.

"Okay calm down as long as it doesn't effect us we will be okay right?" Daniel puts his hand on Emma's shoulder.

"Yeah maybe Daniel is right maybe it's on the other side of the world, it might not apply to us." Emma tries to contemplate everything; thinking of things that could have happened.

The three sat and stared at the magic ball. All of them worried. All of a sudden in a split second someone tele-transported into the room. It caught all three's attention.

It was a young girl; black long hair, she wore a green dress with a pearl necklace. The dress went in at the hip and stopped right at the knee. Her sleeves went to her elbows. The girl had a black eye and was swaying back-and-forth, very dizzy.

It took a few seconds for Jax to realize that he was looking at his sister.

"Evie" Jax shouted as he ran up to her.

Jax picked her up and laid her on the couch he was sitting on before. Emma and Daniel were so astonished at what had just happened.

"Evie what were you thinking tele-transporting that far!" Jax put a throw pillow under her head.

"Jax, dad, Mandi..." Evie spoke weakly.

"Who is that?" Daniel says standing up along with Emma.

"Evie isn't felling so well, make it so she can tell what she has to tell." Emma cast the spell on the girl she had no idea who she was. She just knew the name from Jax shouting it a few seconds ago.

Jax looked back at Emma than Evie. She sat up and looked at Jax. A tear fell down her cheek.

"Who is she Jax?" Emma gets on her kees next to Jax, Daniel follows her.
