Chapter 9 ~ Risks and Relations

Okay Evie wake up. Evie tried to force herself to awake. It hurt a little, but she really wanted to. She then tried to force open her eyes. Every will in her being went to it. Ugh it's hopeless....

She heard footsteps in the room. She didn't know of whom.

"Hello Jax....." A boy's voice said. Evie recognized it as the boy intern. "You sleep a lot you know that?" That boy talked to the sleeping Jax.

Evie heard the footsteps become closer. "Evie Novoa, still not responding." He jot down notes on his clip board.

"I wish I could respond" Evie was about done with this coma. DONE DONE DONE!

"Your really pretty, and a good witch I hear to bad you stuck in this coma...." He stares at her.

He hair was all around her face, eyes closed.

"Awe your sweet, but a tiny bit creepy" Evie wish she could see the face of the boy.

Now let's see how Emma and Daniel are doing.

"Did any of you people notify Andi if I was alright?" Emma hoped that her best friend wasn't worried.

"That's classified, but I wouldn't worry. Let's just say when you get back it will be like you never left." Agamemnon stated.

"What did you...." Daniel's head hurt trying to comprehend what was going on.

"Nothing now let's get back to you two. We need you to get better." Desdemona explains.

"But you said you couldn't use spells it would make it worse?" Daniel sits up dangling his legs over the edge.

"Oh sorry we didn't clarify. Only certain spells will make it worse." Desdemona explained "The thing is we do not know exactly which ones...."

"What?!" Emma was worried and panicked.

"Every case is different." Agamemnon states in his usual tone of voice.

"Let's get started." Daniel stays.

"So I'm her brother and I'm a witch?" Jax asks Camden sitting up.

Evie was listening.

"Your a wizard not a witch." Camden explains thinking about spells.

"Whats the difference?" It was funny how he always argued about that. Now it was like everything was erased.

"Your a boy, wizard, girls are witches." Camden goes over and looks at Evie. He gets an idea.

"Oh..." Jax sits back and thinks.

"There is a lot of things Evie needs to make up, now make it so she can wake up." He casts a spell. The orange magic flows from his hand. It wasn't the brightest thing to do, but of course this is Every Witch Way. That's pretty much always the case.

Evie exhales. Her bright chocolate eyes open. She sits up and looks around.

Camden was in shock his spell had worked. He stood there in awe. She looked very pretty. All in white her hair tossed over to one side. She clutched her head. Than her head turned to look at him.

Evie looked at the boy for the first time. She noticed his big eyes and chestnut hair. She just stared at him. It was the first thing she saw in a while.

"You...." Evie scooted so her back was against the head board.

"I did nothing. Both of you, you can't speak a word. I just broke a protocol." Camden looked over at Jax than ran over to Evie.

"Are you feeling okay? Nauseous headache, or light sensitivity?" He just stared at her close up. Those deep blue eyes she could just swim in.

"A little bit of all those things.." She squinted at the light above her.

"Okay just breath I'll get my father in here." Camden wanted to make sure she was okay and felt no pain.

Right before he was about to leave the room Evie spoke up. "What's your name again?"

"Camden, Camden Lancaster. Nice to meet you now I better..."

Evie cut him off "Like the Lancaster Caramel chews?"

"Exactly like them." He smirked and left with that.

Than Evie remembered Jax has been there all confused. Evie's magic was slowly recuperating.

Should she cast a spell? The memory loss was from a natural cause not a magical one right?

After a few minutes of staring at the silent Jax she decided she needed her brother back.

She casted the spell without any words. Her purple sparkling magic stream hit Jax and he layed down on the bed with a thud.

"Jax!" Evie couldn't get up her head hurt.

A moment of deep breathing!

Than the limp body sat up. Jax opened his eyes and looked at Evie. "EVIE YOUR AWAKE! What happened?" Jax clutched his head. Starring forward.

Jax was bax.

AN: I am sooooooo sorry I didn't update in like years I got super sick than had to make up all this work for school😷. Sorry it's short I wanted to revise all the Novoa' problems. Mandi has been in Limbo for a while we should get her out? Maybe.... Maybe not..... The crew is still healing.

Plus how will we even save her?
