Chapter 6~ Whoops?

Emma and Daniel awoke in a dark room; it was pitch black.

"Daniel are you here?" Emma said in the darkness of a very cold room.

The floor was tile, it absorbed the coldness. She couldn't remember what happened after the plan didn't go to well.

"Emma where are you?" Daniel whispered.

"I can't really tell just follow my voice." Emma rubs her temples to try to relieve her headache.

Daniel found her hand and grabbed it. Both were very cold, so cold that they could barely move their fingers.

"What do you remember?" Daniel asks.

"Nothing except casting the spell, and feeling really weak than everything went dark." Emma went through the memory in her head.

"Well that's what happened before...."

Wait how rude of me! You don't know what happened. I should really explain shouldn't I. Well it all began when Mr. Novoa came to Miami again.

Yesterday:

"Just show me the boy." Mr. Novoa commands at Jax.

"Yes sir." Jax starts to go down the hall.

"Evie will bring Emma over soon. She told her that Daniel had been captured." Jax explains.

"Wonderful."

Today his father was wearing a cape. Now Mr. Novoa really looked like a evil wizard.

Jax opened the door to the room Daniel was in.

"Daniel is it?" His evil tone rang through his vocal chords.

"Why should I tell you?" Daniel sasses.

"Because I am the one with powers here." He flips his cape outward. "And I could easily turn you into a toad."

Daniel was silent.

"Now let's get on with the show." Mr. Novoa was getting impatient.

"Patience sir." Jax leans against the cage bars.

They waited about four minutes in excruciating silence.

Than the doorknob jiggles, and the door opens revealing Evie and Emma.

"The chosen one." Evie stated grabbing Emma and throwing her towards her father.

Emma lands on the floor, knees first. That really hurt her.

"Hello Emma...." Jax states waving sarcastically.

Emma gets up wincing in pain.

"Jax what's going on? Why is your father here?" Emma didn't have to pretend to be scared, she was. "Daniel!? What did you do to him?!? Why!?!" She tried to go to Daniel, but Evie wouldn't let her.

"This is why..." Jax than casts a spell sending his father to the ground. He cast a paralyzing spell for the neck down. Mr. Novoa lands on his back.

Evie than breaks her silence. "Where is Mandi?!" Evie gets down to her father.

"Yeah!?" Emma yells awkwardly.

"I'll never tell you!" He tries to move his head upward.

"What if we threatened to take away your powers?" Jax looks at his nails still leaning on the cage.

"Haha do you know what will happen if you try?!" He laughs looking at Jax.

"What?" Daniel pops the question standing up.
