Adhafera Evodia Rhee Lee, born June 12, 1988 is an South Korean-American singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, model, businesswoman and actress.
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Adhafera, the daughter of a South Korean and Filipino father and a mother of African-American, Mexican and West Indian descent.
Adhafera performed in various singing and dancing competitions as a child. Adhafera has significant following worldwide, when she gained widespread fame in Korea and some parts of Asia when she rose to fame in the late 1990s as the lead singer of HERstory, one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. Their debut was considered by some critics as one of the best K-pop debuts of 1998.
During HERstory's hiatus, Adhafera made her theatrical film debut with a role in The Queen and recorded her first solo album, Adhafera (2004), which debuted at the top of the US Billboard 200 chart. It also featured the Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles "Parkwood", "Chasing" and "Me".
Adhafera's second studio album was released in August 2006, peaking at number four on the Billboard 200 chart and features the Billboard Hot 100 top three hit "Boy Drama".
Adhafera continued her acting career with starring roles including Step Up 2: The Streets (2008) while releasing six more albums with HERstory and the group went into hiatus in 2014, Adhafera has released five solo albums since then.
Adhafera is one of the world's best-selling music artists, having sold over 100 million records worldwide. Her success during the 2000s was recognized with the Recording Industry Association of America's Top Certified Artist of the Decade, as well as Billboard magazine's Top Radio Songs Artist and the Top Female Artist of the Decade. Adhafera has won ten Grammys.
Apart from acting and music, Adhafera is signed to modeling agency Wilhelmina Models and One Management. She has modeled for Calvin Klein one and has been featured in magazines including Vogue, ELLE, GQ and Bust and becoming the face of ASOS 2013 spring collection, she has appeared in adverts for Delia's, Adidas, Abercrombie & Fitch, Seventeen, and a commercial for Clean and Clear.
After a two year hiatus, Adhafera returned to the stage at the 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards ceremony with a surprise performance of "Must Be Love" and "Happy Ending" and ended the performance by revealing she was pregnant. Her agency confirmed actor Lee Min-ho is the father.
It was also revealed that on June 4, 2019, Adhafera and Lee Min-ho married without publicity.

Lee Min-ho (Korean: 이민호; Hanja: 李敏鎬, born June 22, 1987) is a South Korean actor, singer, and model. Lee has significant following worldwide, including Asia and western countries, most notably the U.S, France, Australia, Canada, Spain and Italy.
He gained widespread fame in Korea and some parts of Asia with his role as Gu Jun-pyo in Boys Over Flowers in 2009. The role won him a Best New Actor award at the 45th Baeksang Arts Awards.
His notable lead roles in television series include comedy-drama Personal Taste (2010), City Hunter (2011) in which he established himself as an action hero, The Heirs (2013), Legend of the Blue Sea (2016) and The King: Eternal Monarch (2020).
The success of Lee's television series globally established him as a top Hallyu star and a global celebrity. Hollywood magazine reported that Lee has attained "Superstar" status.
Apart from his television career, Lee featured in the first lead role in the film Gangnam Blues (2015), followed by his first China-produced film Bounty Hunters (2016), grossed US$31 million and the mini-romance-web-series Line Romance (2014), grossed US$20 million. In his acting career, Lee was successful in experimenting various genres such as romance, comedy, action, fantasy and science-fiction dramas.
Lee became the first Korean celebrity to have a wax figure made in his image at Madame Tussauds, with figures being unveiled in Shanghai in 2013, and Hong Kong in 2014. He is referred as the "global actor" by media and fans. International Business Times described Lee as the "heartthrob of billions".
On December 5, 2019, it was revealed that Lee Min-ho had married Adhafera on June 4, 2019 and that they were expecting their first child together.
