Thank you for taking the time to check out this story. I just wanted to do a brief note before continuing on (hang in there with me, this is to soothe my nerves). I LITERALLY was having panic attacks about what to do about this story. I wrote it several weeks back and thought about posting it, but then went, "I don't think anyone will like it..." so I decided against it. I had to have a huge internal battle with myself because on one hand, this thought kept coming back to me, but on the other hand, I REALLY WANTED SOMEONE BESIDES MYSELF TO READ IT.
So, in the end, I thought, "It's okay! It's okay if it sucks! It's okay if no one likes it! You can always take it down, always try again, and you can always just start over! This is not make or break, and this is not the end of the world if no one enjoys it the way you do!"
Therefore! I am posting it!
It is a short story (that might have been why I was so nervous about it, since I NEVER write short stories), but I want to thank each and every one of you for reading and taking the time to look at it. Thank you.
Who knows? Maybe you will enjoy it enough that I do end up making this a full length story? But for now, it is what it is.
