A/N: FYI I'm referring to her as 'Minnie' because I'm too lazy to spell McGonagall. Parts of this piece are also lifted (loosely) from the same fic as before (I really liked it, go read it) which is Death Toll (Percy Jackson x Harry Potter Crossover Fanfiction) by candberri. Because, I mean, it was really funny. Crack chapter.

Snape did, in fact, give Nico his coins back and Nico was officially ten drachmas richer. But, as soon as they stepped out of the classroom, Thalia rounded on them.

"YOU BET ON ME?" She roared. Percy squeaked and Nico tried to hide behind him.

"No, not technically you, we bet on what Snape would say." Percy explained. Nico held up his hands in surrender.

"How many did you get?" Thalia asked Nico, rage still lurking under the surface. Nico counted his coins.

"We bet ten, but there's only eight here. Do you think Snape stole some?" Nico said. Percy shrugged. Just then, Minnie walked out of the classroom and stopped in front of them.

"I bet you two drachmas that in the first week at least two teachers will try to give you detention." She said. Nico gaped at her. Percy grinned and Thalia smiled slyly.

"From each of you." Minnie added.

"Deal." Percy said. Nico and Thalia nodded and took turns shaking Minnie's hand.

"Okay, get to class." She said and the three demigods scampered off to class.

They had their next class with the Pink Thing and as they stepped in, the assembled class turned to look at them. Ron still wasn't present but Hermione and Harry were and they were still looked conflicted.

"Why are you late?" The Toad asked. Percy shrugged and sank into the nearest seat, Thalia and Nico following suit.

"Snape swiped my coins." Percy said.

"My coins." Nico corrected. Thalia snorted.

"Not for long. Minnie's gonna be six coins richer by tomorrow." She said. The Infection looked at them with distaste.

"Please refrain from being late in the future." She said. They all shrugged. She faced the entire class.

"Please put away your wands and pull out your books." The class groaned. The demigods pulled out their books but unfortunately, they were written in English so they were absolutely useless. Hermione's hand shot into the air and persistently stayed there, despite the Disease not calling on her.

After about half the class, nobody was reading (Not that Nico, Thalia, or Percy even could) instead, they were watching Hermione's hand wave in the air. Finally, the Thing called on her.

"Did you have something to ask about the chapter, dear?" Hermione shook her head.

"I wanted to ask about the course aims." She said. The Pinkeye turned up her nose and shook her head.

"We're not going to use magic?" Hermione asked.

"No, we're not." She answered. Nico raised his hand. She called on him.

"This is a school of Witchcraft and Wizardry and you want us to read like some maniac?" A lot of the students snorted or laughed but the Corona at the front did not look amused. Another hand shot up.

"That's not how I would put it but yes, how would you learn if not from a book? Books are the best teachers there are." Thalia laughed.

"I guess we know how good you are, then." She said. The Plague turned slightly pink and it looked like she was trying to camouflage into the rest of the room so the students didn't see her (That, at least, would've made the class better).
