I was interrupted by Romel pulling me towards him and there was the rush of wind. It was all hazy but as my eyes adjusted, I realized we were standing on the rooftop of a tall building.
"What the hell?!" screamed Nessa, as she fell to her knees, hyperventilating.
"Romel, what just happened?" I asked, confused.
Romel looked at me and with a tiny voice, said, "I just felt like jumping".
Suddenly there was a deafening scream.
The spider was crawling up the side of the building.
Romel grabbed hold of us and told us to hold onto him.
He jumped from 1 building to the next to the next until we were in the next village.
Nessa started fainting and the next thing we know, the sun was so hot, it was burning our skins. The heat from the asphalt on the road melting tires. The street television was on. We soon realized we were in the next day: Nessa jumped us forward a day in time.
