'It wasn't me!' Loki desperately wished to cry out.

'I was mind controlled!' If he cried out to his brother now, surely he would understand! Right? He would... He would save him like old times! He promised. So-so he has too!

Loki slumps, he couldn't cry out to Thor. After all, princes must not show weakness, princes must always obey those with authority higher than their own. Princes must always appear powerful and in control of all situations.

He remembers when he fell from the bifrost, he remembers finally feeling at peace, even if the void was suffocating.
He was finally alone.
No Odin, to criticize everything he does. None of Thor's so called 'friends' making up lies about him, to tell the whole kingdom. Everyone would always beleive 'the Almighty Thor's Friends' over 'His Puny Little Brother'

Loki thinks back to when he bumped into the ship in the void, at first he was joyful! After being alone for such a long while he wished for company. He used his sedier to change his appearance and got ready to 'be rescued'.

Oh how wrong he was. Loki shivers, he wished for company again, but not that type of company. He shudders as he remembers the cold, calloused hands of his captors. They chained him to a wall, didn't let him do anything for months.
No eating, no sleeping, no talking... Horrid things to far in number to count. Eventually he grew so frail his illusions faded. That's when Thanos visited him, telling him that he could set Loki free, if only Loki did but one thing for him. Loki, being the god of stories, mischief and lies was a little cautious. He had every right to be. In fact, he was right.

When Thanos found out that Loki did not want to invade Earth, he had him brought to the 'fun room' Loki, being so frail and weak couldn't even think to resist. When Thanos found that he couldn't break Loki using physical torture, he moved onto more…mental things. As powerful as Loki is, even he, can not resist the power of the mind stone.

He tried to get through to Thor multiple times, but he could only fight against the mind stones power so much as to not kill Thor.

Loki let himself be caught, hoping Thor could break the spell, but as usual the oaf didn't listen. He just slapped a muzzle on the so called 'god of lies'
