"I am so tired of carrying boxes."
I say falling on my butt, onto the stairs.

"Tell me about it," Mellissa says copying me.

"This place is so big, it is going to be impossible to find my room."

"Then we should get started.........Right after we raid the kitchen." she says with a smirk on her face.

"You read my mind."

   ***

"Well, that was a total bust."

We are both super disappointed because all the food in there, was organic cooking junk.

"I can help you."

"AAAAHHHH!!!!" Me and Mellissa scream at the same time.

"Who are you?" I ask

"I am Hunter the youngest in our now family." He says smiling at us

"Oh, hi." I say, chuckling awkwardly at him.

"Who is she, I thought I was only getting one new sister." He asks, pointing to Mellissa

"She is my BFF. Melissa Amburn." I tell him.

"Nice to meet you Melissa." he says smiling at us.
"So you guys said you were hungry?"

"YES!" Mellissa says dramatically.
She is such a doek.
But I love her.

"Cool. I'll make something.
I love cooking."

"Thanks!" Me and Melissa say in unison.

"One sibling met, two more to go."

"Since your like, gonna be living here, we totally go check out how cool your room is." Mellissa says as she drags me up the stairs.

"I think My room is this one," I say as I turn the handle on the door.

"Yeah, I don't think that is your room." she says pointing to the blue room with sports car posters everywhere.

"I hope not." I say as I close the door.

"This is the one. I can feel it" I say opening a new door to a new room.

When the door opens I see a beautiful room with a queen bed.
A pretty yellow bedspread with tiny little flowers on it, covers the bed.

My favorite color, It was my mother's favorite color too.

Yesss!! There is a reading book with a humongous bookshelf just waiting to be filled with my millions of books!

There's a bathroom too.
It looks like its one of those sharing bathrooms. (You know the type of bathrooms that has two doors from two rooms and all that.)

I hear someone in the other room playing guitar and singing.
I lean on the door to hear them better. Whoever it is, they are amazing.
Just as I start Imagining who it could be, the door opens and I fall into a super cute boy's arms, blushing as red as my hair.

"Oh, Hi." he says with a smile.

"Hi." I say scrambling up to my feet, embarrassed.

"You must be Melony." he says.

"Ummm, yeah." I say still insanely embarrassed

"I'm Tanner, your brother's friend."

Yes! He is not one of my step brothers!

"Were you playing Grenade by Bruno Mars?" I ask him

"Yeah, it's my favorite song."

"Mine too," I say glad at how Im able to recovered.

"Well if it's okay, I'm going to go to the bathroom."

We quickly scurry out.

When we are finally out of earshot I call, "Dibs!"

"Umm, I think you basically called dibs when you fell into his arms, bruh." Melissa says, trying to cover a laugh.

"You mess with me I'm gonna mess with you." I warn her.

She ignores me.

"You are so falling for him." She emphasizes the word falling.

"Oh you are so going to get it! " I cry, grabbing a nerf gun, and shooting her with it.

"Supper's ready!" Hunter yells from downstairs.

This is my first meal as a family with these people.
I think I'm shock, Melissa must have read my thoughts because she says,

"Come on, I'll stay the night with you."
