I wake up in a damp room, confused.

I try to recollect what happened, but I can't focus.

Then the memories all rush back to my head like a flood. I look desperately at Melony and Tanner.

They are unconscious.
Oh my word! What am I gonna do!

My hands are tied behind my back so I nudge them with my head hoping they will wake up.

Melony wakes up first, looking confused. I give her a couple of seconds to remember everything.

"Oh. My. Word." She says

"I feel the same." I say.

"Oh my goodness, Tanner is unconscious!" She says.

"You were too, a second ago." I tell her

She nudges him awake.

"Woah." He says

"How are we going to get out of here?" Melony says.

"I don't know." I say.

"I think the evil guys are coming." Tanner says.

"Quick! Pretend we are asleep." I say

We all pretend to be asleep.

"Well, well, well." I hear Volkrath say.

"You can stop pretending you are unconscious." Volkrath spits out.

"Fine, what do you want from us?" Melony hisses.

I wish she would've stayed quiet.

"Well honey? you saw us and we couldn't just have you telling humans about us."

"What do you mean tell humans about you?" Tanner says

"I am saying that we aren't humans."

"Then what are you?" I ask.

"I am a bizar." He replies

"What is that?" Melony asks.

"Enough questions."
Then he walks out.

Before we can access the situation, a hissing sound comes from the walls and green smoke starts to fill the room.

"Hold your breath!" I cry out.
But we have to breath at some point.
Soon enough, we all inhale and start to fall. As we fall I see Tanner and Melony hit heads, hard.
Then I'm dragged into the black oblivion.

Smack, smack, smack. Pop.
I awake to the sound of someone chewing bubble gum.
A tall brown haired, green eyed boy sits in a metal chair, typing on a laptop, and chewing gum.

He wears a black leather jacket, white shirt, black pants, and a gray wool beanie cap. Three day old stubble dots his chin and upper lip.
He's actually kinda good looking.

Oh stop, Melissa.
You don't even know the kid! And he's obviously Volkrath's son.

Then he notices me staring at him.
He stops.
Stares.
Then, "Hola."
He goes back to typing.
"Uhh... Hola."

"Hablas español?"
He questions, surprised.
I nod.
"Si. But I also speak English. Tú?"
"Si. I do too."

I glance down at Melony and Tanner.
They both still obviously asleep.
Two large bumps have formed on their heads. They must've hit harder than I thought.

"I'm Ash, by the way." He says, smiling.

"Melissa."
