Carnival

It's been months since she met Irene. Another successful matchmaking. All her tips were effective. Seulgi and Irene got closer.

Yesterday, Irene was super ecstatic that she hugged Jisoo. Jisoo tried to ignore the heart fluttering feeling. She gave her a faint smile. Turns out, Seulgi finally asked Irene on a date.

Irene was going out with Seulgi. Jisoo stayed in her apartment. She watched some animes or cartoons. Sometimes, she'd write song lyrics or just played games. She was in turmoil. She wanted to distract herself.

Her chaotic thoughts were interrupted when her phone rang. She got up from the couch to get her phone on the table. It was Lisa who called her.

"Hey Loser. Let's go to the carnival."

"Uhmm I dont-"

"You're coming with us. I know you're just moping in there. We'll be there at 3."

Lisa ended the call. It was already 2 o'clock. Jisoo sighed then went to the bathroom to shower. She figures that she should have fun and not sulk like a loser.

After a good relaxing shower, she wore a white v neck shirt and black tight jeans. She checked herself in the mirror to see if she looked good.

She went back to the living room and sat on the couch. At 2:58, Lisa and Rosé arrived. They looked refreshing. She grabbed her blue corduroy jacket then wore it as she went outside.

When the trio arrived, they were in awe at the sight. Lisa and Jisoo would compete and made bets. Jisoo always won against Lisa.

"Who's the loser now?"

Jisoo smiled smugly at her. Lisa scrunched her nose then crossed her arms. Rosé was busy eating her candied apple.

"Hey Manoban, let's ride that ferris wheel. You cant say no coz youre stuck with me."

Lisa smiled nervously when Rosé commanded her. She looked at Jisoo who was watching them with amusement.

"J-Jisoonie, you're coming with us, right?"

Jisoo snickered then shook her head.

"Nope, I wouldn't want to be a third wheel."

Rosé smiled triumphantly then clung into Lisa.

"Alrighty then, we'll call you once we're done."

Jisoo nodded at Rosé. The couple went ahead. Jisoo shoved her hands on her pocket looking for something fun to do.

She walked towards the shooting gallery then paid to play. She was eyeing on the teddy bear prize. She was confident enough that she'd win it.

Beside her was a fuming and frustrated girl. The girl had fierce cat eyes and mandu cheeks. She was wearing a comfy woolly sweater and a pair of jeans. She was also wearing a black beanie.

Jisoo still haven't notice her.

The cat-eyed girl was huffing in frustration. She badly wanted to win the teddy bear. However, badluck seems to be on her side.

Jisoo, on the other hand, was so immersed. She shot skillfully, hitting them one by one. Then, just like how she predicted, she won.

She grinned proudly as the owner handed her the teddy bear. Suddenly, Jisoo whipped her head when she heard a tiny "hmph" beside her.

Jisoo blinked her eyes repeatedly at the girl. She wonders how someone could look like a grumpy kitten or dumpling. The girl just glared at her then looked at the teddy bear.
