"So...here's the deal" Jisoo began.

She sat on a chair near the kitchen counter while Irene was busy cooking their food for supper.

"I'm the greatest matchmaker in our generation and I, as a gratitude for your service in cooking, will help you get together with Seulgi."

Irene raised her eyebrow then placed both hands on her hips as she looked at Jisoo.

"Greatest matchmaker? pfft! why would I believe you?"

"Well...it's because...all the couples that I matched...definitely last long...Like Joy and Wendy..they're together for 2 years now."

"Woah...how? I mean..they're like the power couple in SM." Irene gasped."How are you guys connected?"

"Joy and Rosé are friends. Rosé is my bestfriend and that's how Joy and I became friends as well."

"wait a minute...I cant do this. I'll woo her in my own way."

Jisoo smirked then stroked her non existent beard as she eyed Irene.

"Are you sure about that? well...suit yourself then coz Seulgi is really oblivious."

Irene thought for a minute then continued to prepare their supper with the assistance of Jisoo.

"Okay fine.This better be good."

Jisoo beamed her a bright smile. She ran back into her room to fetch her guitar. Irene gave her a questioning look.

"You can sing her this song since she's a fan of the beatles and it would definitely suit you."

Irene scoffed then sat on a chair.

"I dont even know how to play the guitar."

Jisoo shrugged then replied,

"you can hum it then Seulgi will sing it herself."

Irene rested her chin on her palm then looked at Jisoo amusingly. Jisoo started to strum the guitar.

Jisoo wiggled her eyebrows playfully at Irene who was trying to stop herself from smiling and blushing. Jisoo walked slowly towards Irene then continued to sing.

"Listen....Do you want to know a secret?~
Do you promise not to tell?~"

Irene was caught off guard by Jisoo's charming smile. And for the fact that she sings well.

"woah-oh-oh~ closer~"

Jisoo leaned closer to Irene who now had her eyes wide by their close distance.

"Let me whisper in your ear~
I'm in love with you~"

Jisoo then poked Irene's cheek after laughing at her flustered reaction. Irene got flustered thinking that it was like Jisoo confessed to her through serenading. It all seemed real.

Jisoo returned her guitar to her room then came back in the dining room with a smug look on her face.

"See? Trust me, it'll work. How much more if Seulgi sings you this song."

"I-uhh..How? We're not that close."

"Invite her for a sleep-over this friday. Tell her that I wanna hang out. When that time comes, I'll pretend to be busy and stay in my room so that you guys can talk and get to know each other." Jisoo trails off as she grabbed a glass of water. "Of course, you have to hum the song. She'll like it when someone have the same taste of music like her, especially The Beatles."
