The Day You Were Taken From Me

(Age 8)

A year had passed by where I would sneak out of the castle and come and play with you for hours and when we weren't playing we were telling funny stories to each other. My personal favorite has to be when you used your ice breath for the first time, then you tripped on it and got your tongue stuck on your own ice.

"Oh my god Eiji I can't believe you remember that! That was so embarrassing!"

"Hey don't be mad! I thought it was cute!"

It was summer at the time and we were sitting in the shade of the trees, when you had confessed a secret to me.

You looked at your hands in your lap then spoke, "Hey Eiji? I need to tell you something..."

I was scared when you said that to be honest, I thought you were going to have to leave me or something, but I kept a strong face and replied, "Yeah? What is it?"

You twiddled your fingers and said, "Well, you see I talked to my Daddy the other day, about how we both feel all fuzzy together and he agreed with us when I told him that I think that we were mates."

My eyes widened, I felt like I was on top of the world at that moment, "That's great!"

I looked at you and saw that you blushing, which was adorable and it still is. I scooted next to you and put my arm around you and pulled you into me. You looked at me with your blushing cheeks and smiled at me and I could see that your eyes were full of love.

We cuddled until it started to get dark then we went our separate ways.

~Time skip~

I was making my way towards our meeting spot, humming to myself happily. I was excited to see you again, I mean you were my mate after all. Why wouldn't I be excited? I made my up the tree and then jumped down, I looked up and there you were waiting for me!

I went over and started to talk about all kinds of random things, I was in total bliss whenever I was with you...

Little did I know of the events that were soon to occur. The events that would change everything.

~Time skip to afternoon~

You and I were just laying next to each other in a comfortable silence, no words needed when we had each other by our sides. But sadly that silence was soon interrupted,

"Hey Shitty Hair! What the hell do you think you're doing over there?!"

Uh oh. It seems that Katsuki caught on to where I've been going. I thought he was supposed to be in town today!

"Eiji, who's that?" You asked.

"Oh, that's Katsuki! He's my dweller!" I replied.

Katsuki then jumped over the wall and landed a couple feet away from us.

"Shitty Hair who's this extra you seem to be spending so much time with?" Katsuki growled.

"Extra..?" You whispered.

"Don't worry, Katsuki calls everyone that." I reassured.

I guess it was a good time to introduce my mate to my best friend, even though I rather it just be me and her... (¬､¬)

"This is (Y/n)! She's my mate, a dragon just like me!"

"A dragon you say? What kind of dragon?" Katsuki questioned, but the way he said it felt...off...

I brushed it off then replied, "(Y/n)'s a Ice Dragon! She can breathe ice unlike me, isn't that cool?!" Little did I know, saying that just made the situation worse.

Bakugou smirked, "That's absolutely perfect."

Perfect? Perfect for what-

My thoughts were brought to a sudden halt when I heard Katsuki shout,

"Come on Frosty! Stop struggling and make this easier for me!"

"Stop! I don't want to go with you!" I heard you yell back.

I looked over and I saw that you were no longer beside me, but now Katsuki was pulling you towards the castle. I was frozen in place.

"C'mon won't you be happy that you get to be with Shitty Hair?! You should be fucking thanking  me since I've decided to let you be my dragon! I saw how much time you spent together so come on!"

Wait-That means that this isn't his first time seeing her with me?!

I then heard a whimper, and looked towards the sound, and it was coming from...you. I don't know why, but something inside me snapped. I suddenly went and tackled Katsuki off of you, then put you behind me. Suddenly a voice angrily shouted,

"OI WHAT'S WITH ALL THIS SCREAMING GOING ON OVER HERE?!"

I looked past Katsuki and saw Queen Mitsuki, who looked very upset. She stomped towards where we were, "KATSUKI BAKUGOU WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!"

"I'M JUST TRYING TO GET ANOTHER DRAGON, BUT THIS BITCH IS BEING TOO RESISTANT!" Katsuki retorted.

Before Mitsuki could say anything else, a voice interrupted,

"Excuse me, but what did you just call my daughter?"

We all looked towards the voice and there we saw a tall man who had, (H/c) hair, (S/c) skin, and Ice Blue eyes, which were glaring at us. The aura around him screeched power and authority, it was as if one wrong move and you would die.

"Daddy!" Is what you said before you ran towards the man.

That's her dad?!

The man bent down and whispered to you. He then looked up, "It seems as if you dwellers have yet to change."

I looked towards the Bakugou's and could see Mitsuki grit her teeth, "Damnit, I'm sorry for my son's behavior, if I'd known what he was planning I would've stopped him."

Your dad sighed, "Since he is but a child I will let it slide, but if an act like this ever and I mean ever happens again, I won't be as merciful." he looked back at you, "I'm sorry (Y/n), but you'll have to say goodbye to Eijirou."

Goodbye?! Why?!

Your dad then looked at me, "I'm sorry Eijirou, it pains me that I have to do this. But it'll be safer for (Y/n) this way."

Safer?! How?!

You then walked towards me and grabbed my hands, looked at me and smiled, "It's okay Eiji, I know that this is sad. But don't think of this as a goodbye, think of this as a see you later, 'cause I know that we'll see each other again when we're older, m'kay?"

I looked back at you, then gave my own sad smile, "I promise that I'll find you again okay? Promise that you'll wait for me?"

You laughed, "Of course silly! You're my mate after all! Just know that I love you lots okay?"

I hugged you, "Okay, and... I love you too."

After that I watched you walk away with your dad into the forest. My emotions were all jumbled up,

I was sad,

but I was also

very,

very,

mad.
